Since I have been looking at these multiprocess units for months now, and after reading all reviews, I have decided to purchase one under $1000. As I became knowledgeable about the brand, I realized they can and do break, regardless of whether they are US or import. It comes down to customer service for me. I found out about Mike's responsiveness and decided to take a chance on it, so I called the number and he actually answered the phone! He answered all my questions and assured me I was covered for 3 years In my opinion, the price and the customer service are too good to be true. There are about 30 6011 and 7018 rods in 3/32 and 1/8, Radnor, Lincoln, and Vulcan brands all work fine. I have cut 1/8 and 3/16 like butter, I haven't cut anything thick, but I don't need to. When I got my start years ago, it was with an AC buzz box. This machine welds 1000 times better than that old system! You will see that the gauge is on the front of the machine in PSI. (Some import units come with gauges in PSI that are AT THE BACK of the machine, so you have to convert to PSI manually, and make sure you look at the gauge around the back). The leads are all of good quality, and they seem to be all genuine. *
I put this on a HF welder cart after I converted the L6-leg to fit it From a 30 plug to a 240v plug that fits the outlet on my welder. As for extension cords, I use an 8g 3 conductor 25ft cord I got off Amazon to reach around the garage, it seems to work well, and it's not going to break the bank. It would have been better if I had simply purchased the adapter that converts the L6 to the L7 The plug goes between 30 and 240 volts. As a result of the excellent customer service and the low price, I expect your experience to be at least as good as mine. *UPDATED The amount of rods I have burned so far is around 60 pounds. Yes. That is 12 boxes of 5 lbs. Plasma cutters aren't something I use too frequently, but they always work well for me. It only took me one change to make the tip different. I've never had any problems with it. If I get it again, I will definitely buy it.

excellent customer service, decent manual however, if you are TIG welding, you should run your ARGON directly into the machine and bypass the water trap, as it impedes the flow of Argon excessively for.

It worked like a charm the first time I used it. I received it today, had it assembled, fired it up, and it worked great. The first thing I ever went through was 7/16-inch flat bar and I totally went through it like no one's I hit the ground with my jaw. However, I must make up for that with one of those wire doohickeys so I can maintain an even distance above the cutting surface, obviously that's my problem, not the machine. I just did a few more cuts on scrap metal and it was perfect. When I connected up the stick welder and pulled out 3/32nd 6011, the metal turned to butter in no time. My machine was set to 55 amps and I had no problems with it. I'm only a hobbyist, so as far as the box's operation goes, I could say that this fits the bill just This is my most effective way of getting the most out of my work. In terms of negatives, there are a couple but they aren't really major. For plasma cutting, the wire leads should be at least as long as the plasma cutting leads. It would be good to add a little extra length to the grounding clamp lead. There is no mention of what style of plug the product has in the description of the product. Maybe I missed that however, I can't recall seeing it in the product description. It would be great if it came with a plug, so that you could modify it so it could run on 110 volts or 220 volts as per your needs. When I saw that it came with an L6- I was somewhat surprised. The plug is 30 amps. I was thinking I was going to wire an L14-type in While trying to come up with a solution, I was stuck temporarily. In any case, none of this was a big deal and not everything had to do with the machine or I am currently very pleased with this little machine. It runs well and it is a good little machine. Oh, and I just had a chance to exchange emails with Mike at PrimeWeld, and he's a wonderful, down-to-earth individual. I am updating This machine has been in my life for about 18 months and I have used it a lot for a variety of other Despite the extensive use, it still runs and operates just as well as it did when I first bought A trailer that can be mounted on an ATV for use in Search and Rescue missions to transport injured people is one of my projects I built with the welder. I have found the prime weld ct520d to be the best machine for small projects such as log splitters. It is capable of cutting up to 1 inch steel, along with recommending buying extra chips ahead of time such as 26 pieces of pl-60 plasma This is a great product that I would recommend.

We were pleased with the shipping time and the ease of set up. When I contacted Mike at customer service (questions about a 3 prong 220v plug that my generator tripped because it was shipped with it), he was very proactive and Would like customer service to be as good/helpful at other companies. As I was cutting thick angle iron at an off-grid cabin, I managed to get the plasma function to work by reducing the cutting amp and letting off the trigger as soon as I finished the cut (I recommended this unit). I was able to use it at home on 110V as well.

I am a hobbyist not a professional, but for the price, this is a fine I was able to cut 1/2 steel without any trouble and I enjoy using the stick welder. what to expect from the TIG portion yet, but will give it a shot once I get the.
