They are downright cheap and burn up way too quickly, especially when compared to high-end plasma cutter consumables. It is partly my fault because I shake while double arcing, but even when I do not, they burn up fairly quickly. Furthermore, the trigger has begun to break down after only 6 months of use, and it will no longer stop airflow. In the case of generic consumables, there are now generic versions available for sale on Amazon, I have not tried them but the extremely low price should make them a good deal to consider for anyone who is considering acquiring this item. The review will take into account your personal needs and your opinion I recommend that beginners and people with a lot of shaking stay away from this machine. Instead, spend the extra 100 $ and buy the version with the pilot arc so you can use guides and standoffs. Finally, I would like to mention In case you are not new to plasma cutting and are looking for a cheap model, I highly recommend it. Although it is a great machine for a weekend project or garage, this machine should only be used by beginners. This is more than enough if you only use it every now and then, but if you intend to do art, a lot of cutting, or anything with more versatility, then save your cash and get a better brand or at least invest an extra $100 for the pilot arc version.

I purchased the lotos lt5000d from you all less than a year ago, and I tried to use it this morning, but it will not allow any air pressure to flow at the torch. However, I am not getting good air pressure through the machine and torch after I've set up the pressure regular/filter. Problems that could be causing this.

It took about an hour to use. i liked it a lot! Another year later, I used it again for a metal project (I don't do a lot of metal work). i liked it a lot! Today (2020), I tried to use it, and when I tried to turn it on, it shot out red flames that nearly cut off my finger. Dead, dead, dead. There is no hope. The Lotos product fooled me badly, so I will never buy another Lotos product again! It was not what I expected. A new love for it has been born. A brief update I see. Okay. Due to my ability to fix it, I increased my rating to three stars. There was only a problem with the power switch. It is true that I have years of experience in Electronic Tech. There is however a California-based repair station for Lotos which may be able to fix your unit if it needs Although I haven't used their services or contacted them, I am hopeful that others may be able to benefit from them. In your manual, you will find the address and telephone number for this service center. Once again, I am recommending this unit to others due to it's awesome price, its ability to cut 1/2" steel, and the fact that the service center is located in the United States. In addition, the overwhelming majority of reviews seem to agree that the long-term durability is great. It looks like there's another Leviton switch available on Amazon that I prefer. It's not too expensive (17 dollars) and it can replace my old You might want to try the Leviton MS302- if you need to replace your old switch (newer models may have better switches). In 220 volts, this switch has a rated power of 5 HP (30 amps). Two small holes were drilled on the switch plate, one above and one below the existing square hole, to accommodate the screw holes in the plate.

That's all right. It was too unbelievable for me to believe. Mine was powered by a Bobcat 250 portable welder/generator with an output of 11000 watts. In my case, I used a portable air compressor that could maintain 120 psi with power from the 220v side. The cut 5/8" (rusty) steel was I and I used hand-held drills. The process of cutting was slow, but This pretty much zigged through the 3/8" hole. Three eighths of the time is average, however. I was surprised at the smoothness and consistency of the process. *I could use one of these every year for what I paid and it would still be worth it to buy another one. The price of these things has come down so much over the past few years. Thanks LOTOS. It will be 4 years before I spend Miller money again. You've done a good job.

Sadly, the first one I bought did stop working but it did so after working countless hours in a dusty environment cutting all the way up and not paying attention to duty cycles. This was my first LT5000. It made me tons of money and had little to no problems at all. It was no hesitation on my part to buy another one (this one) since I was so happy with the first one. I only hope this one will last me another 6 or more years.
