Yes, this cable will work fine; however, make sure your current cable is also a 4 AWG. Thanks! Sales at EWCS
It is true that the length of your run matters. Our charts, on the other hand, show that for welding purposes, 4 gauge 50 feet equals 100 amps. Thank you very much! Sales at EWCS

This was my fault, and I eventually had to return it. EWCS, on the other hand, shipped it out extremely quickly and followed up with me to ensure that I was satisfied with the product, which I found to be quite impressive. I had to go somewhere else to get the cable I needed. However, because I was so impressed with their customer service, I will definitely do business with these guys again in the future. br>br>P. If you're buying cables for a welding stick, I recommend going with at least 2 AWG. However, 1 or 1/0 may be preferable.
We had no trouble cutting or hex crimping the lugs on (this was my first time working with such a thick gauge, having previously only worked with small electronics, stereos, and home electrical work). br>br>photos of first test cable being used with hex crimperbr>br>installed in the car for a proper fix to the problem we had! This spring, I'll be purchasing more cable in various sizes from the same company to replace a few more cables. I am overjoyed.
Very adaptable and well-priced, as well as very convenient. It was used to replace the easy flux on my Harbor Freight Titanium 125. This, combined with two other items, transformed an already excellent welder into the number one welder I recommend to anyone just getting started in welding or looking for a home or outdoor welder. br>br>The cable was of the proper length for the state and arrived in good condition from Packard. I only used half of it to make the upgraded ground clamp, so there's plenty left over for other projects or a new clamp.
Great wire, but I agree with others in that the gauge is off. I ordered 4g, but when I measured it with my wire gauge, it came out at 6. Also, it perfectly fits the 6g wire terminals. The wire, on the other hand, is clearly labeled with the number 4. So, just to be safe, I ordered some 2g. In addition, take a size larger than you normally would. So either my eastwood gauge tool is malfunctioning or the wire sizing is incorrect.
Most grounding cables on new welders will benefit from this upgrade. Because most new welders come with a cheap, weak grounding clamp and a 10 ft 6 gauge grounding cable, this 25 ft 4 gauge grounding cable is a significant upgrade. It's also produced in the United States, which is always a plus!.
I used this wire to connect several loads to the bus bars in a series of short runs. The battery, disconnect switch, VSR, and fuses are also connected to the bus bars. The wire was incredibly flexible, and the insulation was extremely durable. I bought a bulk pack of copper ring terminals and used a hydraulic crimper. Everything worked out beautifully.
When I use the 21' spoolgun, 25 feet is plenty of cable for the work clamp. The cable does not kink, it unrolls and lays out nicely, but it still coils back up nicely. Because the welder only came with 6 wire, I went up a size to accommodate the extra length.
The price is reasonable, and the construction appears to be of good quality. I'm using this to power my battery with a 100 amp alternator, as well as the two grounds, to complete the three upgrades required when running larger speakers and an amplifier. Thank you.
