Questions & Answers
No, this isn't the same as welding with a 2/0 wire. The terminology for welding cable can be perplexing. The smallest cable we normally stock is 6 ga, and the cables get larger (with more copper) and higher current ratings as they get larger (with more copper). The nest would be numbered four, two, and one in that order. The numbers 0 (commonly referred to as 1/0), 00 (commonly referred to as 2/0), 000 (commonly referred to as 3/0), and 0000 (commonly referred to as 4/0) are all larger than one. We also have sizes larger than 4/0 in stock, but the descriptions are different. I hope you found this information useful. Thank you very much! Sales at EWCS
Yes, this cable is frequently used for this purpose by our customers; however, make sure you order the correct size for your load.
These welding leads can handle a maximum current of 250 amps at a distance of 150 feet.
Many of our customers use these cables to extend the life of their batteries, and I believe you would be satisfied with our cables in this situation. Between the insulation and the copper in these cables is a thin crepe paper separator, which allows for easier insulation stripping. Thanks! Sales at EWCS

This wire is for audio in my car. The only thing that concerned me was the layer of cardboard-like material between the sheath and the actual copper strands; I'd never seen anything like it before, but it appears to be working well with my stereo system. It's significantly less expensive than purchasing actual car audio wiring, which is essentially the same material with a more flexible coating. If you have a system that consumes a lot of power, you should invest in this equipment. I'm sure it's good for welding, but that's not what I'm using it for, so I can't say for sure, but it's definitely high-quality pure copper, as I mentioned.
I've been organizing my shop and tools, as well as sprucing them up and making repairs where necessary. When I examined my welding equipment, I noticed that there was a lot that could be improved, including the creation of new leads. I have a Miller Bobcat 250 on a trailer that I can use to transport it to where I need to work. and the leads came from a previous 20-year investigation year- Welder from the past. They were 75' long, 2 feet wide, and ideal for farm and ranch work. However, I made the decision to purchase new 1 25' leads with a better ground and stinger. These new leads will be used in place of the standard welding leads. I'll bring out the old 75-foot leads for when I need to get to the welding task. br>br>It was money well spent, especially when compared to purchasing pre-owned items. other sources of information These helped me get better at welding with a dirt dauber!.
I used this cable to make my own battery cables and upgrade my project vehicle's charging system. I'm using a high-capacity alternator to support the high-capacity accessories I'm using. The alternator's efficiency increased immediately after I upgraded the charging system. The resistance dropped dramatically as the cable grew larger and the strands became finer. Before and after the upgrade, I ran tests on the system. I decided to use the cable for both my amplifiers and my speakers. It's simple to set up, and there's no need to be concerned about running out of power. The cable is flexible, solderable, and terminals can be added quickly. We'll have to see how resistant it is to abrasion. For the money, this is a good cable.
I haven't put the wire to use yet, but I am in the process of cutting it up. installing Anderson plugs for jumper cable runs a winch. It came in a nice package. For wire of this gauge, the strands are extremely fine, allowing for excellent flexibility. This is a great rubber jacket. The red wire appears to be a little dingy. Although the color is pinkish, it is still very acceptable. br>br>Because the wire is so fine, it wants to fray a lot after you strip it, but that's not a problem once you get the pin or lug on there. it should be crimped.
Good price, quick delivery, and I'll be ordering again if I need more wire.
I've been using it for over a year and have had no problems, even in the cold. It works well and is of good quality; I will purchase more if the need arises. Made in the United States of America.
Great price, great quality, and just the right amount of flexibility made running my main harness under my truck a breeze. To keep it safe, I encased it in a plastic wire loom.
It was delivered promptly and works well.
