Update! Update! After a few months of use, I've discovered that they magnetize all of the bolts and tools you throw into them, which can be a pain. However, I can't take away a star for this. br>br>They're well-made, reasonably priced, and perform admirably for their intended purpose. Everyone could benefit from a set of these whenever they're working on a project and need a place to put their fasteners or other small metallic objects so they don't get lost or mixed up. You will receive exactly what you see. Recommend the 3-course meal. Good value for money in the form of a pack set.
I'd been meaning to get one of these for a while, and when I was recently working on a computer system and accidentally dropped my screws in a small dixie cup, the screws flew all over the place, I decided it was time to look for these on Amazon and have them shipped to me the next day!.
These are precisely what I requested and anticipated. The smallest one is almost too small to be useful, so I perched it atop my swingline stapler and stuffed it with staples that I pull out every couple of weeks or so. So, since I was aware of the small size, I was able to find a use for it, and I don't believe anything less than a five-star rating is appropriate.
This is a fantastic product that you should buy. Metal screws, in particular, but any metal that you don't want to lose should stay put and not move. Furthermore, if you place it on something metal, it will remain stationary. When I was working on my car, I was able to stick this to the side of the car and use it to hold the screws!.
These are my favorites of the bunch. The magnets are excellent, and with three sizes to choose from, you'll always be able to find the right size. I only gave it four stars for Easy To Remove because the magnets are fantastic. I should have given it five stars, but I wanted people to understand why I only gave it four.
I'd been looking for magnetic parts bowls for a long time and finally decided to purchase these. I like the different sizes for different projects; the small is ideal for computer screws, while the large is ideal for car bolts. It's a plus if you're good at nesting. br>br>I was worried that the lower price would mean weaker magnets, but they're powerful enough that the bolt has gotten sucked in and attached to the outside when I've forgotten to remove the bowl.
In my office, I have two for various paper clip sizes; One is on my sewing table for pins, and the other is on my sewing table for fabric. I like that I can take the pins with me while working on projects in the recliner and not have to worry about pins strewn all over the place.
I wanted the 3" rounds, which are not sold separately; you must purchase this three-pack. br>br>I'm sure I'll find use for the larger ones, but damn, I work on computers/phones/electronics all day, and the 3" rounds are DAMN good, but so expensive when you consider they're 1/3rd of the package at full price.
