My wife told me about these mats after she saw them advertised on Facebook and told me about them. "These mats are fantastic," I thought to myself. They appear to be well-built, and they are owned by veterans. I was looking into buying them because I was always dropping stuff or having bits and pieces walk away from my work site. " I noticed that I could get a set of three mats for $120 or a set of four mats (likely Chinese mats from the same factory) for $40. I must confess that I purchased the knockoffs for a third of the price, and they are excellent. I've draped the smallest of the three over the top of the ladder and haven't lost a single screw or bit. br>br>However, I am ashamed. I should have purchased the more expensive kit from the veteran-owned company in the United States, which I did not. My wallet is unable to distinguish between the two, but my heart is. Make sure you don't make the same blunder that I did - American products should be purchased.

Let me begin by stating that I am a do-it-yourselfer; I am that weekend warrior who works on their baby and fixes the family car. I had no idea these existed until I saw the Grypmat, but it was way out of my price range. With the money spent on those mats, I could buy more tools or performance car parts. br>br>So I went on Amazon and found Gripty. I placed an order, and it was shipped to a state halfway across the United States. Unfortunately, I never received it; however, I did receive a refund, and someone recommended these to me via Facebook, and they had recently been released. br>br>I absolutely adore these mats. I adore everything about them, especially the screw bit and socket holders, which I didn't realize I needed or wanted. The mats are thicker and heavier than I anticipated for the price. I expected cheap, flimsy material, but they are anything but. If you're looking for some new mats, don't hesitate to try these out.

Normally, I do not leave negative reviews. I did not receive a new product in this case; the mats are still in excellent condition, but they have clearly been used. I work hard for my money, and I expect the same from any "new" purchase. This has happened to other people with different products, but this is the first time it's happened to me, so I'm getting off my soapbox now. The mats themselves are of excellent quality. br>br> I was surprised by how much more I was surprised by how much I was surprised by how much Many people compare these to the name brand, despite the fact that they are made of thinner silicone. I can't compare them because I'm not willing to spend more than $100 on molded silicone to find out, but I was pleasantly surprised, and I believe these will last for my rolling four-wheeled money pit projects. br>br>It's a good idea to at least rinse them with water after each use. They have a lot of "stickiness" to them and pick up small dirt particles. debris. It's not always enough to simply wipe them off. Sticky is a good thing, but scratching your paint because you forgot you dropped them the last time you used them isn't. SO. br>br> 5 OUT OF 5 STARS FOR THE MATTRESSES 3 stars for those who assumed I wouldn't notice or care if a returned item was sent to me.

The best deal on the market. The silicone is of excellent quality and is extremely grippy, ensuring that it does not slip. It's flexible enough to conform to whatever surface you put it on a little, but not so much that all the sockets, nuts, bolts, and other bits and pieces fall off. Keeps everything in one place so you don't have to do the stupid dance of turning around and lifting your feet to figure out where that 10mm bolt went when you're trying to reassemble whatever it is you took apart. This has been extremely useful in terms of working on my car. br>br>Also, on several occasions, I've slammed the hood down and forgotten about a socket driver, screwdriver, or whatever else was on the engine bay. Now I put everything in this dayglo orange tray to make sure nothing gets lost. It's also handy for dismantling something small on my workbench because I can keep all of my screws and other bits in one place. br>br>This was less than half the price of the name brand, and given how well it works, I doubt I'd get much more value from the more expensive name brand. It's also very simple to clean silicone. Most dirt can be removed with just a quick rinse under the water, and any stubborn dirt or grease can be easily removed with the generic Fast Orange pumice soap I have on hand. It dries fairly quickly after a few quick shakes. br>br>It's a good investment.

brand'. I bought two, one for a mechanic relative, and both he and I think they're fantastic. Because of the differences in size, each mat has its own set of advantages. They're simple to clean and hang to dry, and they look and feel like new! I would strongly advise anyone to purchase these. I'm confident you'll enjoy them, and you'll be even happier knowing you saved money on them. I'm glad I found them, and I'm thinking about getting more for other places around the house where they might be useful.

Although I have never owned a Grypmat, I was intrigued by the concept of a portable tool tray. When I saw the price of ONE Grypmat, however, my jaw dropped. . . ! So I was glad to come across these—three sizes for a low price, perfect for working on a car or motorcycle (which have almost no flat areas on which to lay any other type of tool tray). It won't'stick' to a vertical wall, but it will grip any reasonably curved, angled, or uneven surface. If it's slipping, clean it from the bottom up, as well as the surface you're trying to lay it on. That seems to be the best way for me to do things. And I don't mind if it isn't as flexible as Grypmat because that means it will maintain its shape even when loaded down with tools/parts and laying across an uneven surface. Good buy.

Perfectly sized for a variety of tasks, these grippers will not slide on dry or wet surfaces. It's deep enough to double as a drip pan. I can think of a zillion uses for these; you can even mix epoxy on them and it will peel right off.

In comparison to other non-slip tool mats, such as the Gypmat, which costs around $60 for one, these are a great deal. I've never purchased a Horusdy product that I didn't like. These mats appear to be well-made and heavy-duty. The fact that there are three different sizes and that they all fit together is appealing to me. When I rebuilt the front end of my Mercedes last week, I used them for the first time to hold various nuts, bolts, and tools. The fact that they come with a variety of dividers and trays of various sizes makes them extremely useful. This is an excellent purchase.
