Rail set with a badass vibe. I was able to free up a lot of space in my new toolbox by using two of them to pick up 160 sockets in one hand and not have any of them fall off. This is well-made gear with good fit and finish. If you're reading this, Olsa, please figure out a way to combine my 40 combo, line, offset box, and mini combo wrenches into a single package. I go out to fix a friend's chevy, thinking it's a standard vehicle, but it's metric. I'll have to return. Anyway, this *resolves* the socket issue, and don't worry, the plastic clip things don't cling to the sockets too tightly or too loosely. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Oh P. The clips only come off one side and must be removed one at a time, so it takes some time to get them set up the way you want them. That said, I don't think the removal method is a flaw. in the scheme of things.
In my shop, I was able to free up a significant amount of space. It's extremely useful to have all of your sockets displayed and stored together if you work on automobiles or motorcycles. It's also a lot simpler to return sockets to their proper locations. Mine has 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch sockets, as well as extensions, flexible junctions, and the rest.
The Olsa tools organizer was not only in the color I wanted, but it was also of higher quality. I would strongly recommend this system because it is the most cost-effective option available. It also appears to be of comparable quality to the one sold by SnapOn for a fraction of the price.
A set of deep wall sockets requires too much metal. Picking it up will cause it to bend. It's fine for sockets of average height. You won't be able to slide the socket holders off if the metal plate is bent. Because the socket holders only come off one side rather than both, it's a more complicated 15-minute job. If your sockets are a mess, you'll have to solve a puzzle to transfer them all. Rather than using this as a sorting bin, it is preferable to lay out the sockets in the desired order first and then transfer. Due to the low cost of metal, I believe individual holders would be a better option. It's probably a better idea to get SAE - DEEP - For each of the driver sizes (1/4, 3/8, 1/2), there are 6 PT 12PT and NORMAL 6PT and 12PT skids, as well as the same for Metric. You'll need about 24 single socket holders, plus one or two more for unusual 8-point sockets or screwdriver/alan key sockets.
This socket organizer is simple to use, sturdy, and well constructed. br>br>When I went to purchase a second organizer, the Olsa was out of stock, so I purchased one from ARES, which appears to be identical. The ARES is 20% cheaper at the time of this review than any other other other other other other other other other other other other other% I noticed that the same organizer is being sold by a number of other Amazon sellers. br>br>This product comes with only one warning: The socket holders/clips are mounted on a steel base plate and slide onto sturdy plastic tracks. Only one end of the track can be removed and reinstalled at a time. This means that if you forget to count or need to change the size of a clip, such as from 3/8" to 1/2", you'll have to remove all of the clips installed after the one you're changing. The clips are very easy to place on the tracks, but removing them is a little more difficult because you must depress a stiff plastic retaining tab while sliding each clip over the tab. So, before you start organizing your sockets, think about what you want to accomplish.
I decided to look for a way to organize them all and came across the Olsa Tools Portable Socket Organizer. As a result, I decided to give it a try, and WOW! What a huge difference; I immediately saved all of my sockets and no longer have to dig around for the ones I require. They are now being ordered by the other technicians in my area. I'd been looking for an answer, and I'm glad I finally found one. You will not be disappointed with your purchase, I assure you. I'll be adding a few more of these to my toolbox in the near future! Thank you, Olsa Tools, for your excellent customer service and for producing such a high-quality product!.
Without a doubt, the best socket organizer I've ever used. It easily accommodates my 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" socket collection. It's simple to pop in and out of the clips, and the fact that you can add or remove them only adds to the convenience. I also like the handle because it allows me to quickly grab and go if I need to bring my socket set with me.
This organizer is fantastic. Excellent quality, simple to set up and organize, and quick access to a socket. I can pick this tray up with the handle and carry it without any sockets falling off, even with 1/2in deep and 1/2 uni's. This tray is absolutely incredible.
