Ohio is the home state of the inventor. This was the first time I saw it on Shark Tank. When asked where it is manufactured, the inventor responds, "offshore."
It's made of silicone and can withstand heat. a fantastic addition to any toolbox
Another response stated that the "Product is manufactured off shore."
You actually want something that will keep your greasy kitchen tools safe in the dishwasher. That's something to consider.

It was way too expensive for my husband, so I bought the $60 one for him and he was like. . . "Is that all there is to it?" says the narrator.
I bought this for my husband to keep the TV remote and his phone on the arm of his lift chair. Even when the chair is fully upright, it remains securely in place. My husband has ALS and has very limited mobility, so it's a lifesaver! I knew we needed one after seeing it on Shark Tank. This is an excellent product.
It fails to deliver on its promises. It slides off every surface I've tried, even if it's at an angle of just a few degrees.
It has a good grip, is extremely flexible, and has high sides. I also like the four small side pockets for holding screws and nuts, which come in handy when working on my small plane. br>br>I used to use a slab of foam rubber, but things always rolled off and scratched the paint every now and then. No more! To avoid sounding like a sales pitch, this would be an excellent gift for a mechanic friend.
Yes, it's pricey, but I've never purchased anything made of high-quality silicone/rubber (or whatever it is?). ) that isn't on the higher end of the scale, but Dad adores it. He said that while working on his planes, he's had a lot of frustration with tools sliding off the towel he'd have on the wing/fuselage. He's complimented me on finding him such a nice present on several occasions now. The winner is Grypmat!.
This mechanics mat was purchased as a present for a friend who works as a motorcycle mechanic. I didn't expect the mat to be so small. Yes, the dimensions on the website are correct; it's just that the pictures make it appear larger. In retrospect, I'm not sure I'd spend $60 on such a small mat. It appeals to my friend. I'll update once I have more information about what he likes about this.
This is one of my favorites because it makes it easier for me to work with small parts and tools when I'm making things or simply working on my car. Another advantage is that it can be washed or wiped clean, making cleanup easier. br> I liked it so much that I bought a second one in a different size; it's great for people who like to make things or work with small parts and tools.
Even with the dimensions listed, it's a little smaller than I expected, but it still works well. I also use a magnetic tray, but it isn't large enough to lay a wrench on and may scratch the paint on the car. Although this is safe and will not glide, it can still be flipped over or through, causing bolts or tool spills.
