#2) The kit does not come with a ream, it comes with a hole sizing spike. It is not possible to machine or abrade the tire rubber with the tool. The methods in the instructions are not recommended for permanent repairs, even if they are temporarily effective. ARB has come up with an unsatisfying product. Since I have not used the actual tools yet, I can't comment on how they perform. I hope I'll never be able to do so, of course. However, I am slightly surprised at the packaging since I know ARB's reputation for quality. They feel solid, though, and I will assume they are fine, given the brand's reputation. Considering the quality and experience that ARB has in off-roading, I would have expected them to offer a more compact and space-saving design. The container they use for their kit is efficient. In addition to taking up far more cargo space than necessary, the orange plastic clam shell box also blocks the view of the scenery. The material was repacked into a smaller pouch, which I had left over from another project. It takes up only a fraction of the original storage space. In any case, I doubt the tools are fragile, so there is no point in adding a case to protect them. Yes, you can buy comparable kits for less money, but this one is quite good nonetheless. It's nice to see how large and plentiful the plugs are as well as how many extra tools/bits there are.
