Questions & Answers

There may appear to be a silly question here, but what are the differences between this model (S976 Dual Head Chuck) and the Thanks so much. ?

As far as I know, the S921 is called a Dial Tire Gauge, and the S976 is called a Dual Head Chuck, which can be fitted to any type of valve stem due to its angle.

Have you ever used this gauge on a dually motor home wheel with a valve stem extender? Unfortunately, I am unable to find a gauge for working on ?

Due to the lack of valve stem extenders, I bought this gauge. The purpose of those is to bring both valve stems out far enough so that the gauge doesn't need to be as big as

Do you have the ability to adjust the gauge's length? Does it look like it's possible to loosen the nut on the gauge?

As far as I can tell, it is not necessarily a bad idea,

How can I tell if this gauge is able to measure the pressure in 32mm presta valve tires?

The tire gauge is made in the USA and is a great product. ranges from 10 to about 660 pounds per square inch and from 60 to 1100 kilograms per square inch.

The tire size is too inaccurate when using In my opinion, I estimate
3/5

A gauge reading of 5 psi high (tested with 3 gauges) indicates tires inflated to 90 psi. Those seem to be excessive variances, but as long as you know that they are off by x % (in my case about 6%) I guess you can deal with it - I will. With 32psi tires, 6% variance may be acceptable (but then again, you can just get that level of accuracy with a $3 pencil gauge). At this price, we don't think it's a great buy if tire pressure closely matches psi on high pressure tires.

As far as I can tell, it is fully precise up to I don't know for sure
4/5

As far as I can tell, it is fully precise up to Down around 25 and 35 psi, the reading seems to read about 2 psi higher than normal. A good seal is achieved and it can be repeated. The duals on the inside of my computer are being worked on. I was also able to read it through my fill-in There are certain gauges that can read through valve cap covers (and not all of them There is a lot of room and it is very It is recommended to use a stick with at least 10 psi of pressure. I am using it for the first time We will have to wait and see how it works out.

The Milton 976 gauges will replace a couple of old Bridgport indicators that stopped working
5/5

I've ordered two more from Milton in order to replace the broken ones. I now have (3) 976's that are located accurate, and I never get an incorrect reading.

Definitely worth the money and the reason I bought it was that it worked so well
4/5

It works very well, and the main reason I chose it is that it was made in the U. S. This item is hard to find nowadays, but i pay more to keep the Americand going and not sell it to you. Then get out!.

3/5

There is an error in this gauge. There are about two paragraphs in it A pound and a half. I'm not sure how much off it is, or how long it's The refund was processed after it was returned.

I think this tire gauge would have been used by my grandfather
5/5

I think it looks like something my grandfather would have used, and I find that to be According to its appearance, it was (and still is) made in an era when an American Craftsman took pride and dedication in From other reviews I've seen online, this is a very accurate gauge when compared to a known pressure. It has a very solid feel to it with its brass plating. The tool is not just another ten-minute "tool" made in China that can be used half a dozen times and then disposed of. This tool will probably last me a lifetime, and I'm happy to have Milton, you did a good job.

This gauge has a great heavy metal feel to it
5/5

Like the gauges used at gas stations, this gauge is good and heavy duty. We can only hope it holds up as well as they did. According to my understanding, the information appears to be accurate.

In light of the fact that I don't know my inside duals, this is the best method to check
5/5

As I do not want to remove the hoses to relocate the valve stem to the outside, this is the best way for me to check my inside duals. Buying Made in America is a great thing for me because it shows my support for the country. Every opportunity should be taken to hire workers. I think this is a great price, and the shipment arrived on schedule.
