EPAUTO Heavy Duty 120 PSI Tire Inflator Gauge with Hose and Quick Connect Plug

In the process of searching for these tools, I discovered that this tool included the Inflator as well as a pressure gauge. The prices here were the lowest and the gauge range closer to my needs, but there are a number of other options to choose from. As a result of needing something with a locking connector, I bought this inflator.
The unit arrived and seemed well made for its price. I liked the feel of the unit and how quickly it inflated tires. As well as the locking hose, it worked well. My gauge became 10 psi out of calibration very quickly after using the gauge for the first time. My first thought was to just keep it and calculate for the gauge issue, but when I put it into service, the next use caused the gauge to be 20psi out. As soon as the gauge was not in use, it showed 20 psi. In short, I began the return process and was contacted by the vendor to offer a replacement. The 220psi model, which appeared to be almost identical, had already been ordered by then. Without asking me a question, they gave me a refund for this unit. The 220 psi model took a long time to arrive, and the gauge looked good at first, but the trigger was sluggish and had no travel that allowed the plunger to be pushed. It turned out that the part that needed to be upgraded was the trigger itself, which didn't have any raised areas. The vendor and I discussed this, and I pointed out that I could make a good unit if I grafted the gauge from the 220 onto the 120. I told them I would be able to do that if I wanted. It was no problem to send the 120 model back, as the gauge was incorrect. The inflator I have is fairly good overall. This has been my going-to gas station for filling up truck and RV tires for a few months now. However, the gauge is not always accurate, which is why I have only given it three stars. As I was filling today, I saw it say 65 pounds per square inch, so I hit another gauge and it showed 78 pounds per square inch? After trying a few times, I still saw the same result. My finger pivoted to 78 to 80 psi after tapping the gauge (gently) a few times. Whenever I use the needle, it gets stuck once in a while. It is not an issue since I always confirm with a second gauge, but it is The following is an update for 07/17- EPAuto sent me a new gauge in the mail as a result of reading my review. My sincere thanks go out to I worked great with this one and it's accurate. Having our RV tires inspected before hitting the road is great for keeping the vehicle in good shape. Also, I give them an A+ for their customer service.

As with other reviews, this product had the same issue. In addition, the air line QD fitting provided could not be fitted into the handle because the handle split out the back before it was even Light was used to illuminate A medium hand pressure is needed when spinning a wrench, not tearing it down. It is almost certain that there is either a defect in the casting or the internal threads (perhaps they are too shallow). I will try to seal it permanently with JB weld and use it anyways (have done this successfully) since I didn't want the hassle of returning it. I just thought it was worth mentioning as well. In the "open flow" type of air chuck, if you depress the handle without connecting it to a valve stem, it will squirt air like a blow gun when you depress the handle. If you don't want your chuck to flow openly, they sell closed-flow chucks.

It seems to be a very well built / heavy duty product. My tires get more air because of it. In my experience, the clip is difficult to secure to the valve stem of the tire, however, this was A gauge of about 3 is used It stays at 5 psi even though the pressure is off. Although the air pressure register is good for its price, it does not operate accurately after a few months. The following update has been posted to www. cfionline. com I nearly immediately received an email telling me that I received a defective inflator after leaving a 3 star review. After receiving another pressure gauge that accurately registers pressure within a few days, I was delighted. As well as being very well secured to the valve stem, the new one is very light. We can not be beat when it comes to customer service. This is a recommendation I strongly.

More and more of the recommended products on Amazon are just cheap junk. I'm not sure why this should be an Amazon recommended product. My previous model worked very well, so I bought this one out of frustration after not being able to find it anywhere else. I find it sad that so many quality products are being pushed aside for cheap ones. The whole thing is a waste. It is impossible even to modify it to work because the parts it uses are not standard. Sorry about that.
