It appears to be a good attempt, but not perfect. There is one downside with this tire pressure gauge which is the rubber hose attached to it is too stiff and almost takes a fixed setting. I like it, and it is accurate and matches the psi reading of other tire pressure gauges that I trust. Because of this, if the rubber hose is left in its original box, it will curve and make the gauge harder The curved extension hose did not appear to be affected after a few hours in a warm room. I left the tire pressure gauge there hoping the rubber hose would soften a little bit.

Because of its ease of handling, I like it a lot. It has to be asked, WHY haven't tire pressure gauges been designed like this before? When you're down on your hands and knees (or squatting and putting pressure on your knees), they are going to be tempted to try your little silver gizmo, which adds to the difficulty of getting an accurate I must admit that I never ever thought about it myself. Is it glow in the dark as well? In order to charge the battery for that, it needs to be in the sunlight for a while. It can be taken off the tire and will hold the air pressure number until you tap the button on the side. When you attach it, you will not lose about half the air pressure trying to get it on correctly. The first time it goes on that it works. I think this should have been invented before now, but I am glad it's here now. I like this gizmo a lot.

My first attempt with this gauge did not result in any air escaping from the tire stem, and it indicated that the pressure was didn't even bother to keep the boxes in which it was shipped, because I was so amazed. After using it on all three of my vehicles a week later, I was not able to use it on the fourth. In some cases, the gauge achieved a seal right away, and in others, I could not get it to seal no matter what I tried. As well, the valve bled down on its own from time to time, which since the device was new did not bode well for its longevity. The clamp on my pump is a bit loose- This connection sometimes seals on its own, but it always does, eventually. Upon return, the gauge was turned off.

I bought it about 3 weeks ago, and it has lasted My wife and I either used this product during the day to test it out or at night to see how it worked. We were both pleasantly surprised that it does work as described. When I had it tested by my skeptical father, who has worked as a mechanic for over 60 years, he was impressed by the accuracy. The long hose provides comfort as it does not have to be positioned too close to the ground to read it, and the grip of it makes it easier to handle even when dirty hands are involved. In general, I am very happy with my purchase. It is definitely a good read.

The pros are The dial is easy to read in the dark (illumination), the ends rotate, the air release button holds readings after disconnection, the hose is heavy duty, the metal fittings are durable and the price is inexpensive. I wish the dial was flipped, since it is upside down when viewing the dial face. I think this product is so far a good one (See photo). It isn't my main tool, but I use it occasionally when checking tire pressure during periods of freezing temperatures. This will have to be seen over time to know whether or not it This will be kept in my glove box in my truck. Then I will probably order another for my other vehicle if this one lasts.
