But there's this item. It was well worth the effort!! I'm a seasoned do-it-yourselfer who recently used the Time-Sert tool set to repair damaged spark plug holes in a set of antique aluminum tractor heads. I did an outstanding job! Following the instructions is as simple as it gets. In less than an hour, I completed two repairs, restoring compression and preventing leaks. a few moments later, he was driving the tractor. Although working with aluminum is simple, I am confident that this tool set would produce nearly identical results on iron heads as well. br>br>The kit comes in a small but sturdy plastic case. The tooling is of the highest quality and has been meticulously machined. This kit also came with 5 inserts, and restocks were easy to come by. br>br>My only criticism is the extremely basic, bordering on sad, instruction "insert. " There isn't even a full page of pictures, and they appear to be copies of copies of copies - It's almost faded, and the resolution isn't great. It was simple enough to figure out, but I believe the instructions could have been improved for the price of the kit. br>br>In general - Strongly suggested!.
My fiancé had to make a part to get it to work properly, but it arrived quickly.
This kit is simple to use and makes an excellent long-term fix.
On my snowblower, it worked perfectly.
