The first time I used it, it worked perfectly to save my oil pan

Before ordering an oil pan for your vehicle, make sure you have this information. You'll save hundreds of dollars in labor and parts if you do it yourself. br>Make certain you're qualified to work with machines of this type. Although there are some good videos on YouTube, it is preferable to have an experienced person install this thread insert kit. When properly installed, it will outperform the factory part.

It's pretty basic, but it gets the job done

This is what I used for my oil pan plug on my 2014 Silverado. This kit presented no problems for me. Having to do everything from my truck presented its own set of difficulties. I'll use one of these kits again if I ever need to rethread my plug.

These are the products to use if you want a long-lasting repair that will only be done once

Alternatively, if you opt for Heli- These are the coils you'll be using to fix the Heli- Coil, especially if it's something that's dismantled frequently.

"Compare what we sent you to the size of your drain plug," the first step in the instructions, should say
3/5

" It turns out that you may or may not require longer Time-Serts than the ones included in this kit, even if the "M12x1" is used. Your vehicle requires a 75" set of boring and threading tools. I didn't notice until after I installed (w loctite red) because I'm a stupid noob. Attempting to extract the timesert failed and mangled the Time-Sert's inner threads, so I'll have to drill it out. On the other hand, Even in a cramped space with poor lighting and a tap wrench made from two nuts on a long bolt, installation was not too difficult.

NOT Heli coil, but a timesert that is better and permanent
5/5

The only issue I encountered was that I needed to purchase a splined socket because a twelve point would not work with the tap provided.
