I found this kit to be very easy to use and included everything I needed to ream, tap, and set my To my delight, I got a box of tools and parts in place of what I had expected. Opening the box, I was pleased to find that it was packaged in an adequate hard case, and nothing was loose or rattling inside. There were formed spaces inside the boxes with protective plastic covers to prevent scratching and damage to the tools. There were no burrs in the reamer and all of the tools were very well constructed and of high quality. These instructions in the kit can be found on a hard laminated copy, which makes them durable and easy to use over time. I had purchased a kit to fix a botched repair job on my 2002 Mini Cooper, a car known for throwing out spark plugs. I was able to complete the job with this kit in a short period of time.

If you brush properly, you will achieve the best results

I was pleased with the result. A helicoil kit was improperly installed on a Honda Fit of the first generation in the United States, requiring this product to be used. A brass instrument brush should be used after drilling with any kit, if you have one or can obtain one. Taking this step will ease your life a lot.

I think it's well worth the money

I am very glad that this worked so well. The removal of various components to make the spark plug accessible was going to require a lot of effort. I underestimated how fast that would take, but it only took an hour to complete and was much simpler than I had In that case, I did not have to replace or remove the head. I saved hundreds of dollars as a result. My full kit with multiple certifications means that I am prepared should this ever happen to me or anyone I know again.

Although this kit is a little pricey, it definitely gets the job done! It may not be cheap, but it works just as well as a new cylinder head does and is still significantly cheaper than a new one! It comes equipped with everything you need to complete the project
