It is easy to do this job on this truck by getting the 8031 kit that is very little more expensive. It really helps to have the large C frame on these trucks in order to fit them properly. I just completed a 2007 Dodge and the kit fitted perfectly and had all the adapters I needed. The 8031 literature says it fits the 3/4 Dodge through 04, but I just finished a 3/4 Dodge and it looked the same as the kit did. In every vehicle I have done, I have used the basic 7049 kit to complete the project, sometimes I have had to get creative with pieces of pipe, fittings, or sockets for adapters to accomplish the task, but I wasn't able to get it to I found the 8031 to be almost easy to use.
I am not sure if I am on vacation at my shop. However, I can attest that it is the best program I have There are some that bend or twist, but this one remains This would be the one I would choose if I needed another. There is nothing I hate more than It is made in a good manufacturing facility wherever it is made.
It is true. An outline of each item and the OTC part number for it are located on the top inside edge of the lid. A great deal of replacement parts are available through OTC. All parts are labeled with part numbers that make it simple to find them.
There are adapters in this kit for most Honda models. In addition to the adapter models 554416 and 554397, which can be purchased separately, you will also need adapters for the RSX.

My reasoning for purchasing this kit was that it was supposed to be of decent quality, but much less expensive than purchasing from Snap On. One of the pieces bent during the first use. The piece was sent to the company I contacted, which is Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC, OTC Technical Support, who said I would need to mail it back so they could inspect whether the warranty would be honored. If you're a mechanic, you don't have the time to wait so long for things to be done. As well as being rude, they were disrespectful. As a result, it would be best to spend more than you would to go through the hassle and be without the tools that you need for.
During the two days preceding my order, I looked at these for hours. No press has ever been built better ( and no one will ever need a better press). I think it looks like the tanks we used in the army. These tools are incredible, and I can't say enough good things about them. Take a look at all the reviews like I did and you'll see what I Let me save you the trouble and suggest that you get the best video available and simply use it.
I am absolutely amazed by this OTC is a trusted brand known for the quality of its kits. You will not find a kit with as many pieces, made at this quality, for this low price. Yes, I am. We often use special Ford tools, which are made by OTC, as Ford diesel mechanics. You will be glad you have this kit with you. It works well as a ball joint and a U joint lubricant.
There are a lot of websites out there that offer decent quality commercials With the wider range of cups and receivers included with this set, it was suitable for a lot of bushing jobs.
The C-clamp was a good choice. There is a good deal of quality in this clamp the threaded sections fit well together and the clamp does not flex even when used to its limit. The set comes with lots of fittings, and in conjunction with existing puller/pusher fittings, it always does the job. If needed, there are more fittings that can be purchased separately to expand the set. In addition to being larger than the pictures suggest, the case houses everything well and is sturdy. As a whole, I am a big fan of the set and I strongly The final point is to keep your threads lubricated with anti-static spray You may want to use moly grease in seize cases. The lower wear and faster speed will make the system much more efficient.
This is a really nice This press is well-built. Please note that the adapters are not made in the USA, but the press itself is. In the past I have used it for ball joints, suspension bushings, and u joints.
The kit works well if you use the right adapter for what you are using it for, however, I chose what I thought was the correct adapter and it was not. In order to make the bell shape, the adapter was bent. Despite the fact that it removed the joint okay, it bent a little if it had been made stronger.
My favorite tools are made in the United States. It is worth paying for OTC products because they are heavy duty. In the future, I plan on going with the same kit to rebuild the front end of my Chevrolet Silverado and my Ford Excursion. Provides easy access to U-shaped objects There are two types of joints ball joints and joints. I think the price is a little steep for the do-it-yourselfers This is a do-it-yourself job, but it is.
That was the first time I changed ball joints, and the process went well.
