My attempt at contacting you was unsuccessful I tried contacting easy labor to find out how elastic the rods are. I never heard back. The main use of it is to pass network cables through walls without conduit from the top to a cutout box that sometimes exists, and sometimes must be cut.
I decided to buy it for $66 and try it out. This glowing rod is the only one with a hole through which the cable can pass, and it is a fixed head, no additional heads are included. As a result, it makes it inconvenient, because you have to feed it first (for the glow) and pull the cable, and sometimes in cable work, it feeds one way and not another. Exactly what I was hoping for. It is impressive to see what you have accomplished. The majority of my time is spent doing DIY projects. The electrical wires and computer wires in my two master bedrooms are being run. Pulling the cable with this tool was a great help, since they pushed aside the insulation, and the light on the puller helped locate I saved a ton of money because the electrician just made the terminal connections to the outlets and at the junction box in the attic. It is fun for the kids at night to play with the light.
It beats cheaper, inferior alternatives by a long shot. A few dollars extra can make a big difference.
A wire running rod made by LSD is the best on the market. Almost 20 years have gone by since I bought the 6 foot set. These 3 feet are short enough to fit in my Jeep and I picked them based on their compactness. I like this product very much.
