Product Description

To ensure longevity and durability of the tools over their lifetime, the tools are made of high quality heat treated drop forged steel. By using a press type ball joint separator, the boots and other parts of the joint can be removed without harming them as is the case with typical fork-type removers. This set is excellent for both amateurs and professionals who do not have time to waste on inferior equipment. It is made of the highest quality construction available.
This set also includes a high-quality storage case that helps you keep all the tools in the set safe while you're working, so you won't have to worry about losing one. You can easily carry the whole set wherever you need it thanks to the handle.

I am covered by a lifetime warranty how do I get a replacement part? I have no idea how that works. Can you help me find a replacement mushroom pullerpiece if the one I purchased is ?

Do you know if Amazon will provide you with the service you need

Is it possible to tell how wide the jaws of the ball joint separator extend?

When the hammer is swung hard, it hits hard

What is the likelihood that the pitman arm puller will work on a 68 Chevy?

I'll be sure to do so. There are a lot of good pieces in this It wouldn't make sense for me to spend a lot more on OTC products. The drive screw should be oiled, run up and down with the impact, then a breaker bar is used to finish the job. Lastly, tap the pitman arm on the ground a few times with a big hammer to finish the job.

Do you think this will work on a 1997 F-150 The number is 350. ?

I worked on my 1997 F250HD, which is the old name for the In addition to tie rod ends, pitman arms, idler arms, etc., I changed various drive train components. The brand of the company is great and the quality is great.

From an old mechanic, these are great quality for the price
5/5

Having now used some of the pullers and poppers, I have been pleased with how well they work. The impact wrench does not fit my needs. Using a 1/2" drive breaker bar, I break through concrete with ease. When tightening the bolt, I tap on the joint with a hammer to ensure no damage is done to the tread or to the boot (if there is a boot on the joint). I'd rather beat on some pickle forks than a pickle fork.

There was no response from the company's technical support team after pulling broke on the first try using a I put in a request for a replacement but got no response from support

Oh but I got an 88% test score, so that is a B+
4/5

I think this is B++. The black threads on one of the tools in the Amazon post picture have a seat to measure the height against the stud. (Picture in stock amazon post on far left). I had a problem with it being my first use and brand new out of the box. This may be the case. I may have to show this to a tech apprentice after a while. There is no guarantee you will get a good result in the first 3 uses. Now that's all you need to know!.

As of now, everything is going I have used the pitman arm puller twice now, and I've been impressed with it I looked at the ARES brand first, and planned to get the OTC brand, but it arrived earlier for a slightly lower price and was similar to the ARES brand

The tool set is very cool! This is the first time I used my Ares front end service kit
5/5

WELCOME TO THE WORLD! Since I began working in the automotive industry more than 30 years ago, I have been trained in many areas. Since I have my own shop here in Texas, I am now a mechanic. In order to work with this tie rod tool, I used this set. It worked wonderfully! It's very easy. You just need to add some grease to the threads first to prevent them from being damaged. I like the set very much!.

This is an excellent set
4/5

Thanks to this set, I was able to replace the tie rod ends on my suburban. A puller broke the first time I used it, but nothing could be done and the unit was replaced right away.

I think passenger cars would be okay with this
4/5

A good job seems to have been done here. When it comes to the ball joint separator, many late-model Dodge trucks will not be compatible with this part. I am unable to press the ball stud with it because it does not open wide enough. I hoped it would save me about $300 plus compared to buying.

Throat of pitman was knocked out
5/5

The work I did on the 3/4 ton Chevy was impressive. The arms did not bend or distort when I removed it.
