When the hammer is swung hard, it hits hard
I'll be sure to do so. There are a lot of good pieces in this It wouldn't make sense for me to spend a lot more on OTC products. The drive screw should be oiled, run up and down with the impact, then a breaker bar is used to finish the job. Lastly, tap the pitman arm on the ground a few times with a big hammer to finish the job.

Having now used some of the pullers and poppers, I have been pleased with how well they work. The impact wrench does not fit my needs. Using a 1/2" drive breaker bar, I break through concrete with ease. When tightening the bolt, I tap on the joint with a hammer to ensure no damage is done to the tread or to the boot (if there is a boot on the joint). I'd rather beat on some pickle forks than a pickle fork.
It is useless to offer a lifetime warranty.
I think this is B++. The black threads on one of the tools in the Amazon post picture have a seat to measure the height against the stud. (Picture in stock amazon post on far left). I had a problem with it being my first use and brand new out of the box. This may be the case. I may have to show this to a tech apprentice after a while. There is no guarantee you will get a good result in the first 3 uses. Now that's all you need to know!.
WELCOME TO THE WORLD! Since I began working in the automotive industry more than 30 years ago, I have been trained in many areas. Since I have my own shop here in Texas, I am now a mechanic. In order to work with this tie rod tool, I used this set. It worked wonderfully! It's very easy. You just need to add some grease to the threads first to prevent them from being damaged. I like the set very much!.
Thanks to this set, I was able to replace the tie rod ends on my suburban. A puller broke the first time I used it, but nothing could be done and the unit was replaced right away.
A good job seems to have been done here. When it comes to the ball joint separator, many late-model Dodge trucks will not be compatible with this part. I am unable to press the ball stud with it because it does not open wide enough. I hoped it would save me about $300 plus compared to buying.
The work I did on the 3/4 ton Chevy was impressive. The arms did not bend or distort when I removed it.
