The first time I used it, the threads fell out of the center piece. It took me a long time to get some before the bolt went all the way through. The item is made from aluminum cast. I bought Chinese junk for a cheap price.

It is a great product for automotive and A flywheel puller that I purchased to remove the flywheel from my 2011 Yamaha Grizzly When pulling the flywheel off, my intent was to get to the timing chain sprocket easily in order to put the chain on, but halfway through pulling it off, I noticed the hub piece in the kit was bent up so much that I no longer felt safe using it

Especially when you consider It would have been nice to see more bolt options included, and some of the ones that are there only have two bolts rather than There are some applications where this does not matter, but there are others where it does. There are a lot of sets that do this, but Shankley is one of them. Although the price would have increased slightly, I would've liked to see there were a few more bolts. It is still not too shabby.

This item appears when you search for motorcycle flywheel puller, however it does not come with 6mm bolts these bolts are normal for There is no mention of the sizes of bolts used by Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, etc. In this kit, more bolt sizes are needed. However, you will most likely have to buy your own bolts, since the puller does not come with them.

I liked the way it worked

This part was purchased to replace the crank pulley on a Nissan 3 - for removing the crank pulley. The kit is organized well and fits into a 3L engine. While the kit has a good selection, it does not come with the 6 X 75MM bolts I need for this project. It will bend under heavy torque as far as the flange (slotted piece) is concerned. If the lip is outward, it can be difficult to chew.

In addition to pulling a rear wheel from the 1964 murray lawn tractor, I used it by pulling a whole lawn In the end, the tool bent but managed to remove the wheel! The way to fix the problem is to use a WD-40, an air hammer, and lots of brute force. Despite my initial skepticism, I am very satisfied with this puller.

There was another set I had to use in addition to this one, and I found a third bolt I had to find, for my application they only included two of the three parts in that size. It is a bit strange that they make sets that require 3 bolts for most applications, but only include 2 of many of these.
