Is the thread on the bolts standard?

I'm afraid I don't know. It's all about the tool. If different bolts were required for various applications, I would simply purchase them and add them to the kit for future use.

Is it possible to remove the steering wheel from a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado using this method?

Yes, the steering wheel will be taken away.

Is this kit capable of completing both of the following tasks: perform the function of a steering wheel puller serve as a lockplate compressor for the steering wheel?

A steering wheel will be pulled by it. Since I got it, I've only pulled a couple of times with it. I'm not sure about compressing a lock plate because I've never had to do so.

Will this fit a Pontiac Fiero GT from 1988?

I am certain of it. It should work if you have a center horn button that pulls out with the steering wheel but is hidden behind it.

I wish the wrench had been included because it was larger than 3/4", but I was able to make do with what I had. Although there were no instructions, I had previously used a different brand. It was successful.

When I tighten up the U-shaped part of this kit, it bends! and shifted outward, causing the cover to be damaged

This kit appears to be Chinese junk to me! I believe they simply bent and chromed a piece of flat bar. Because when I tightened the bolt, it bent. junk! Purchase is not recommended!.
