It appears that the latches on the plastic case are quite easy to lock and unlock, and they also seem to secure it well enough so that it won't pop open when you aren't looking for This system feels as if it is made of steel and all of the tools/parts are made I have no doubt that they are all On the upper side of the case door (when opened), a thin foam piece can be seen (which is not evident in pictures of this item). Shaking the case produces very little noise, as it holds the items more firmly, and it helps prevent them from bouncing around and out of place. Tool you must have! Do not forget to lube the threads, and do not use the.
I used it to fix up the steering column on my pick-up and it works fabulously!.
A great tool, with a nice case, one that should last for quite a while, I can recommend it.
