I had to modify the hook end to fit in my 2005 Other writers have mentioned that the hook ends have to be ground down to fit in the hole required for the steering wheel to be removed

Since I wanted to keep enough material in place for strength, I stripped off just a little metal at a time. The price is fair and I am not complaining. Although I am not impressed by the time needed to modify something to fit, I do appreciate the effort. Three stars - I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

I was able to run it on 17 RAM 1500s with no issues

Pulling the steering wheel off my 2017 RAM 1500 was easy with this tool. Normally I use puller kits of higher quality, but this one was not suitable for my puller kit. For premium sets, you have to spend a lot of money.

It took some grinding to get it to work for me, but I wouldn't have been able to remove.

Fits into a 2007 silverado steering wheel but not a 2005 silverado steering These are larger than I thought, which I didn't realize at the time

They would not fit through the holes in the wheel, so I had to order a new set to replace the ones that failed to fit in my 2007 silverado 2500HD. Thank goodness I had a grinder at hand and was able to shape them into shape. If they had fit without modification, I would have given them a higher rating.
