I used it on a GM steering wheel that didn't have any threaded places to pull the I had to drill holes and tap them to get them to pull the metal off the wheel, as they didn't bend or break when they were installed, but they did pull the metal off. Another puller had to be purchased because the first one broke. After getting grade 8 bolts, I found it very difficult to remove. It was great to be able to buy these hooks so that I will have them for my next project.
Using this method, I was able to remove the steering wheel from a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. There could have been a bit more space between the feet. However, it could have been done with hand tools as well.
Once I used it, it got the job done without a hitch, and I had no problems with it.
Working as expected, this tool was helpful. A friend would be pleased to hear it.
Using without it on a 2001 Pontiac worked great but was hard to pull the steering wheel.
Thank you.
The puller worked well with my existing one and allowed me to easily remove the steering wheel of the 2015 Ram 1500 without any difficulty.
