When the wheel came loose, there was a loud pop. It is recommended that you do not bang on the steering wheel when removing it from the car. If you intend to use this tool, I highly recommend it. Besides, I'm not sure banging on it would have done any good. Unfortunately, the tool comes with SAE bolts, which posed only a minor problem. Because it was metric, I already had it, so the issue wasn't really an issue.
The clock spring on my Town and Country minivan had to be replaced. Trying to find the best quality solution at the lowest cost. Good packaging and fast delivery of the item. I found the tool to be very useful for my purposes, since it offered several adjustments and sizes of screw pullers. Good quality product that didn't bend or fracture under stress. Did the job it was supposed to.
I was able to remove the steering wheel from a 66 Mustang without any problems.
