Questions & Answers

I'm curious about the bucket's capacity. ?

The filter takes 60% yo 70% of that space in what appears to be approximately a two quart size container. br>I only use this for dusting and small dry messes. It's convenient, but it doesn't have a lot of storage space.

What is the battery's life expectancy?

It is dependent on the battery size. A 5. A battery with a capacity of 0 ah will last twice as long as one with a capacity of 2. 5 ah. The vacuum is quite strong, and the motor consumes a lot of power. A 5ah battery might last 45 minutes or so.

Is there a carrying case included with this puppy?

There is no carrying case included.

Is it possible to obtain a brush attachment? I'd like to use one to clean the dust from my base molding. ?

My vacuum did not come with a brush attachment. Because I couldn't find one on the Milwaukee website, it appears that the answer is no.

This isn't even close to being a bad idea! That's not true! I'm not sure why this thing has received so many positive reviews
3/5

Is it possible that I just got a lemon? I've owned a number of vacuum cleaners, and even my $25 Shark vacuum cleaner is superior to this. It may be able to pick up fine sawdust, but not a single skittle. I have a dozen Milwaukee M18 tools, all of which I adore, except this one. I wanted to use it as a car vac because I have a toddler and things get messy, but as I previously stated, it won't pick up a skittle, a soggy cheerio, or any other dirt or debris that isn't super light and bone dry. It's nearly useless. Despite its bulk, I'll continue to clean my car with my 6 horsepower shop vac.

Makes vacuuming fun for the kids again! My new tool was misplaced in the kitchen cabinet
5/5

taken away from you. This was purchased for my personal cleaning tasks while performing Honey Do's. My adolescent son had it open and demo-ing before I even got home. ing it to the other children. Vacuuming became cool all of a sudden! My new tool, along with a couple of batteries and a charger, had been relegated to the kitchen pantry. The wife had made up her mind that it was a kitchen tool and that she didn't need to return to the garage. "Yuck! br>br>The two wand tubes and hard floor head were the real game changers. It's simple to maneuver and clean up dry material. It's a bit of a struggle for the wife and kids until they get a second hand on the body, at which point they're off and running. All of the floors in the house are concrete. A 1. A battery with a capacity of 5 AH can last up to 600 minutes. 900 square feet, depending on the operator's attention to detail. Because I lost two batteries and a charger to the pantry to support the vacuum, it only has about 15 minutes of run time in minutes. A more powerful battery would be extremely beneficial. It does, however, add weight for small helpers. I'd rather keep the little helpers occupied and change the batteries more frequently. br>br>As a vacuum, the nozzle is a little short, and the entire unit is a little bloated. However, after making a mess, it holds quite a bit of stuff. There isn't a lot of noise. It's quieter than I expected, but you'll have to raise your voice to be heard. br>br>In terms of power, it's more than adequate, though not as powerful as a shop vac. I like it a lot better than the other handheld vacuum cleaners I've tried. However, I did not use many to make a fair comparison. So, if you need to vacuum your car's upholstery. Keep it simple and use an old-fashioned shop vacuum. When compared to a shop vac, if you only buy one tool for multiple purposes, this one gives you more mobility at the expense of some power. In a pinch, I'd still prefer this to a shop vac. br>br>Hey Milwaukee, where are the LEDs for working in dark corners or under desks that so many of your other tools have? If there's one thing that makes this feel less well designed than other tools, it's the lack of LEDs for small dark corners when using the vac without attachments. The latch is a little clumsy. However, it is habitable and well-sealed. When the product is updated, those LEDs will be required!.

Portable vacuum cleaner that works well
5/5

PRO: br>The suction is adequate- It's a portable device. Get a shop vac if youbr>re in need of one. br>It's pleasant to listen to, and there's a high-pitched melody. pitchbr> whine, but it's tolerable; much quieter thanbr> any of my 120v vacsbr> Price is good (dsn is 2x* more)br> easy to empty over a trash can or in thebr> yardbr> Hose, wand, and smooth floor tool are all goodbr> br>All you have to do now is swap out the batteries as needed and keep working! Suitable for use in a car or on a boat. br>Perfect for the off-season. grid vacation homebr>great for a quick clean up in the shopbr>perfect replacement for those dustbr> suckers of old, but it can also work as your one-stop shopbr> and-only. CONS: br>br> br>There isn't a brush on the table. Any brand will do, and you can borrow onebr> from your other 114" hose units, but are you sure? no brush? br>A fabric brush head with a diameter of 4 inches would be ideal. br> This is the one from the old Kenmore factory. br>This thing needs a shoulder strapbr> or a belt hook, like a fewbr> other tools, but. . . br>it's a little heavy for the pantsbr> *If you don't already have Milwaukee M18br> battery packs, you'll need a 5 amp-hour battery pack. br> hr or, even better, TWO 5 amps or an 8 amp- br>THAT will keep you running for at least 20 minutes, but it is an expensive option. br> As for me, I have seven different size batteries for different milwaukees. If you don't already have them, this vacuum isn't as good for the money. br>Replacement pleated filters cost around $$$15 each. Tanks should be emptied on a regular basis. br> use a tube sockbr> and a rubber band to protect your filter; if used for drywallbr> dust, you'll hate the $15 price. br> borrow a wide floor brush from an oldbr> vacuum. Only smooth floors are suitable for the provided 8" wide one.

The problem is just getting started
3/5

I got this vacuum and put a battery in it, and it worked exactly as it was supposed to. I put it down for a while and then tried to restart it, but it wouldn't start. I tried several different batteries (one brand new and several older battle-tested ones, all fully charged) but to no avail. After some more troubleshooting, I discovered that using any of the batteries to start another tool and then immediately putting that battery into the vacuum worked. However, if you leave it alone for too long, it will go dormant, and you will have to restart the start and switch process. Milwaukee's starting logic between the battery and the vacuum, I believe, is broken. I have a number of other Milwaukee tools, and they all start without a hitch on my batteries. br>Once the vacuum is turned on, it performs as advertised, and I've contacted the seller for a solution.

Other add-ons are incompatible
3/5

This vacuum has a number of problems. 1) Unlike other similar products, the filter cannot be washed. br>2) It's bigger than a lot of other handheld vacuums. br>3) It won't fit any of my other vacuum attachments. My Shark attachments are 35mm, which is too big, and my other generic shop vac attachments are 32mm, which is too small. I have a few other kits and adapters, but none of them work with this vacuum! Milwaukee appears to have made an absurd error here.

I apologize for purchasing it
3/5

It is not possible to use this product continuously. The show lasts ten minutes. It turns off after 15 seconds! The vacuum has to be turned on again after 30 seconds to a minute! EXTREMELY ANNOYING! Milwaukee customer service is nearly impossible to reach, and service repair centers are few and far between, with me having to travel 100 miles!.
