In my garage, I have both square and round poles. To keep the kids from banging their heads against the doors, I used pool noodles. I bought these specifically for that purpose because they were significantly less expensive than similar items. They are extremely effective. They are more effective on square poles than on circular poles. Because of the way I had to wrap it around the pole for the circular poles (at least mine), the adhesive on the pads began to peel back. I simply wrapped a zip tie around it to secure the adhesive to the pole, and they stayed in place perfectly.
I bought these to use as bumpers when docking my boat because I wanted something soft and cushioned to absorb the shock. So far, they've worked well because I don't have any scratches on my boat and don't want any. They're also inexpensive enough to replace if they tear or anything else happens in the future.
These were perfect for protecting the car doors on the pole in our garage - They clung to the pole fairly well, but I reinforced them with black duct tape for extra cling.
We use these in my garage so that I don't run into the wall because it's so small in there, and they've held up well so far.
These are fantastic and will stay in place if you clean the wall thoroughly before installing them.
If you have a small two-car garage, it's ideal for keeping your doors safe when they're opened.
One panel was cut up and used as a buffer for my Wall Mounted TV. It keeps my television from slamming into the wall and the mount arm from poking holes in it.
The size and thickness are both satisfactory. We attached it to a treated wood round pier and it didn't stick right away, so we added screws and it now works perfectly.
