It has a thickness of about one inch. The size is ideal. It does not protrude excessively, which is a plus.
I'm not sure, but if you're not sure, go with the second option. I'd make sure the concrete was as spotless as possible. I can attest to the fact that the "stick'um" on the back was fantastic (I. strong)

I needed something that wasn't too big and was simple to set up. I've had these up for about 6 weeks and they've stayed put without a hitch; they're not big, so you'll need to know where your car will be parked within 6 inches or so; Otherwise, the door will not close properly because the pad will be missed. These appear to be of good quality, with excellent adhesion. They have a thickness of about one inch. When you install the door, open it and look for the actual curve in the door that will hit the wall first; it isn't always in the middle of the lower part of the door's height. My door is only a foot and a half off the ground at its lowest point. Don't just wing it; check it out and make a note of it. These aren't meant to be taken down and put back on again. In general, this is a fantastic product.
I needed something to keep my car door from getting dinged up against a garage wall, and this was exactly what I needed at a great price. My only gripe (as seen in the photos) is that it "split" down to the base not long after installation. Still usable, but not what I was expecting. It's not like we slammed the car door against the wall. I'm not sure how it happened, but it certainly shouldn't have.
These were mounted on the garage wall, where the car door would normally strike. No matter how careful I was, the door would open faster than I wanted on occasion. I was concerned about the garage door and the garage wall being damaged. br>br>The issue has been resolved. These pads were very simple to install. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the wall. Remove the adhesive cover and stick it to the wall. It adheres well, so place it where you want it the first time; I used three to get the coverage I needed. So I'm still holding on to a spare!.
In a garage, this is what you'll find. The drywall on one wall and the concrete on the other are different materials. Over two months ago, I lined them up against each car's door and secured them there, and they're still going strong. I was skeptical that it would adhere to the concrete, but it did! Because of their length, they're always right where we need them when our kids exit the car. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.
Excellent headgear. These bad boys were used to cover the heat register in my home gym, which had been converted from a bedroom. Neil from the old school smashed my head through the wall while rolling Jiu Jitsu. "No more of that!" exclaimed the wife. " As a result, I installed wall pads to protect the melon. " I slapped these on there because the registers were still exposed and ready to slash my brow. There will be no more worries, no more holes in the walls, and no more blood on the floor. Even Neil, who is a grumpy old man, seemed pleased!.
Then I stuck it to an OSB board to avoid accidentally dinging my car door. Stays in place, works flawlessly, and requires no wood preparation.
Application of a bumper in the garage for car doors is simple and quick. I found exactly what I needed. The adhesive appears to be quite strong, and this item acts as a great wall barrier. This was used to keep my car doors from crashing into the garage wall, and it worked so well that I'm considering using it in other areas of the garage and house.
They adhered to the backside of my chimney (which is located in my garage) very well, protecting my driver's door from being scratched if someone parks too close to the wall.
