There hasn't been any odor that I've noticed. There is no problem because I have them in our garage. However, there is no strong odor when you open the package.
Since June of this year, I've had mine on a low brick wall outside in my carport. They've done a fantastic job of holding up. br>I've just ordered a second set to finish lining the wall because they're still sticking firmly and look nice.
It will undoubtedly "cushion" a kayak, but the surface to which the bumper will be attached is more important. It's stuck to the unpainted cinder block wall of my garage. I didn't care if I left a smudge on the wall. br>br>Overall, the bumpers are dense (which is a good thing) and do a good job.

Yes, we're putting some padding in the garage. Unfortunately, as cars have grown larger and garages have shrunk, we no longer felt safe parking our cars in our garage for fear of dings. We chose this after a family member recommended it, and after reading the reviews, we made our decision. This is fantastic! You could open your car door with a lot of force without damaging it because it was thick and cushioned. Because they're a little on the small side, we used two of them for the posts in our garage. 3 were sufficient to cover the areas we needed to cover, but if we had looked harder, we could have probably found larger ones. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase!.
It was easy to stick to the wall because it was made of soft foam. It has already served its purpose, protecting my wall (and bumper) when my husband leaned too far forward; I would buy it again.
I doubled the thickness of the cabinet in the garage's back corner, and it's'saving' my Honda, which I've had to refinish twice in the last two years. Come on, fellas-- Restore some 'beef' to your car bumpers.
These were used to protect my hot water heater by padding a metal pole in my garage. My car fits between the pole at one end and the door at the other with very little wiggle room, so I don't have much room to pull it into the garage. In my attempt to get all the way into the garage, I was afraid I'd hit a pole. The pole protectors ensure that if I get too close to the pole and collide with it, my bumper will not be scratched or damaged. I've had a couple of opportunities to use the protectors, and I'm glad I did. They're a little thicker than I expected, but that's not a problem for me. Just make sure the thickness isn't going to be an issue for you and that it's appropriate for the location. The backs are extremely sticky and should easily adhere to flat surfaces. My sides are lifting a little, but that's to be expected because I'm using a round pole.
This was purchased for our new home's garage, which, despite being a two-car garage, barely accommodates my wife's SUV and my sedan. I put these on the wife's side of the door to protect it from the kids when they get out. The adhesive is extremely strong, and the material is gentle and non-abrasive. abrasive.
We bought these to place on the concrete so that when we open our car doors, they don't hit the blocks. They are extremely sticky and do an excellent job! We also like how thick it is; there's a lot of cushion there! I'm very happy with the outcome!.
When my husband didn't like the pool noodle solution I came up with to protect the doors of my new car, he went looking for something less "tacky" and came across these. They keep my doors from slamming into the concrete on the garage's lower wall and the drywall on the upper wall. It's simple to put together, and the adhesion is excellent on concrete, which was one of our main concerns. Before I put them on, my husband painted the concrete. And, yes, I prefer pool noodles to this solution, but don't tell my husband.
This is the most effective way to protect your vehicle's doors. The protector guard is thick, and because there are four of them, you can do both sides of the car with them. They stay on the walls, and if you need to move them, simply pull the bumper guard away from the wall slowly. It has been extremely beneficial to me. The price is reasonable, and the security personnel are effective.
