You could use it anywhere you want to protect something because you can cut it to any size you want and the adhesive is strong. I cut it and used it on the garage wall to protect my car doors, but you could use it anywhere you want to protect something because you can cut it to any size you want.
Do not be concerned. It's gentle and safe, so it won't scratch or harm your car.
If you don't have a corner to deal with, it will stick to wood or drywall. We hung it on a drywalled center column in our garage and had to staple it in place because there were four corners within a short distance. It stayed on the surface for about a day before peeling away. It hasn't caused any problems in the other straight areas (no corners). It is unquestionably beneficial in terms of preserving car doors.
The strip measures 2000 mm in length.

No one can help me because it is now illegal in New York to have non-alcoholic beverages. In order to stop the spread of Covid-, we need essential workers in your home. We're going to turn it into a library with a daybed for an extra guest room, but there's this low beam [with pipes inside] that you keep hitting your head against. [See pic. ] This is the only product on the market that is thick enough to be useful while also being large enough. It's 5/8 thick, with ripples to give it a more substantial feel. It's 8 feet wide, so you get a lot of space in a short amount of time. Because this 'beam' is long and wide, we needed ten rolls; simply peel off the back and the adhesive sticks right away. br>br>Just a word about cutting it. It claims to cut 'easily,' which it essentially does. However, if you use regular scissors, they will pick up a bit of the adhesive and need to be cleaned, and the yellow paper backing may tear, requiring you to be more careful when pulling it off [my husband and I each had a brand new pair of large scissors]. However, the additional 5 minutes are well worth it! br>br>Of course, this will come in handy if you need to protect your car doors, but it can also be used to soften a wall for whatever reason. br>br>Due to the fact that it is black- as well as being extremely attractive in its own right- I'm using a 240 inch curtain rod and will install a curtain over it to make it look nicer but also to provide an extra warning that this beam is in the middle of the room, as our room will be white and blue. When I'm finished, I'll post some pictures. br>br>Thank you so much, Spurtar, for creating such a fantastic and unique product!!.
We have to back into our shared garage with our apartment neighbors. We discovered this product after months of scraping the back corner of the car; we couldn't believe how well it adhered to the dirty, uneven brick garage walls, but it did! Not only is it useful for preventing scrapes, but it also serves as a visual cue when backing up!.
The product appeared to work well when applied, but as many other reviewers have noted, the adhesive is strong, but not to the foam. I used this to try to pad my lally column in my garage (to protect car doors), but the foam has peeled away, leaving behind impossible to remove adhesive! I'll have to sand down the column to remove the adhesive and look for something else now. br>br>Not only does this product not work, but it also damages the surface to which it is applied!.
This ensures that my car doors do not scrape against the garage walls. It's very simple to put together, and the adhesive is very strong. The only issue I had was that the paper backing tore several times as I was peeling it off, making installation a little more difficult. If possible, I'd recommend rolling it out and letting it warm up in the sun for a few minutes.
Despite my best efforts, I would occasionally open my car door to the point where it collided with the wall, scraping off some paint around the door. This was a simple fix - I simply nailed it to the wall at the height where my door is most frequently slammed, and there you have it. There's no need to be concerned about the door slamming against the wall any longer. It's got little grooves in it, which I like: They'll have to sit in my car door. It was well worth the money I spent, and it has yet to fall off the wall.
The adhesion clung to the pole while the rubber peeled away. I had to replace it with another product, but I still have a piece of it on a different, smoother painted 10" diameter pole - as it appears to have stayed put in that spot.
It is very simple to use. To ensure that they were straight, I used a level. It's easier to get in and out of the car now that I can open the doors against the wall without risking damage to the paint.
I’ve’looked at a number of online products and’this outperforms them 100%. I still haven't had a chance to clean out my garage because I needed a parking wall protectant for when I park my car outside, and I found it!.
