This spilled all over my truck bed the first time I used it. I imagine it takes a long time for the heavy-duty gaskets to seat. Make sure they're tight on delivery and that they're sealed by tipping them side to side after filling. If you haven't added spouts, tighten the little center caps; otherwise, they're sturdy and appear to be long-lasting.
I recently purchased some VP round jugs, and those POS cans, which were less than two years old, began to leak at a seam on the bottom.
With the longer hoses I purchased, you can fill your atv, generator, or any truck without the stupid spout that comes on today's gas cans. You don't have to make the rest of us use a child proof spout if you're too stupid to use any kind of gas can. This product is of high quality, and the spout comes with a long hose.
In the heat, one of them swelled up. And it has a rounded bottom so it stays flat, whereas the others require a lot of effort to keep the caps from leaking.
" It's a good price, but mine will leak if it's left on the counter for too long - The lids simply do not seal as well as I believe they should - and this isn't what you're looking for in terms of gas. br>They're fine as a "Utility Jug," but they're not the best choice for a good fuel jug.
In the United States, madness reigns supreme, and the quality is second to none. The threads are CNC machined, and the jugs come in a variety of colors. They're also inexpensive. I'm not sure what else you're looking for.
The new cap design makes removing and refilling a breeze. These jugs are great; I couldn't find red ones at the time, but these green ones won't be confused with anyone else's.
