I've had this for a few months and have gotten a lot of use out of it. It seemed sturdy at first, and everything threaded together smoothly - As a result, the accuracy is greatly valued. It's clearly marked on the side, so filling smaller blind tanks is a breeze (I started with five and now have three - Those 2 gallons of gas should get me through about 25 laps). It fits nicely around the house, takes up little space, and is sealed so there's no gas odor (happy wife!) It works well for all my stuff, but the smallest I've poured into was a pressure washer; filling a push mower/weedwhacker (get the 2) would probably be a pain. That'll be 5 gallons! They're stacked together! Overall, I like it and would buy a few more in the correct colors so I don't have to sharpie the contents.
These fuel jugs are fantastic, and I have two of them. The first was purchased from an independent retailer and came with a shorter hose and a molded piece to bend the filler line into a naturally curved position, allowing you to lift and place the jug into the filler hole with two hands without having to worry about feeding the hose into the fuel opening with one hand while juggling the weight of 5 gallons of fuel. Although having the molded piece to curve the filler line would have made this purchase perfect, I would still recommend it.
The design is excellent. I purchased two of them, as well as an LC trailer rack. The only reason I gave it four stars was because the filler hose that came with it did not match the picture. Only the base and hose are included in the package. It was necessary to purchase a $7 hose attachment separately. The price is 99 dollars, and it includes an internal fuel filter, which is a good thing. I contacted the seller, but received no response regarding the filler hose.
Please do not purchase! It comes with a 12 inch filler hose, as stated in the description. (Included)br>The hoses for my two jugs were not included. Deception or outright rip-off for a $12 hose Or their packing and shipping department isn't paying attention to the order's specifics. In any case, I won't be able to use the jugs until they provide the hoses that come with them. Unless you want to be stiffed on parts, DO NOT BUY.
It hasn't leaked, and the additional rear handle makes pouring a breeze. I did not receive both ends of the full hose as shown in the picture, as others have stated. The screw-driver was the only thing I got. on one end of the jug, and a yellow plastic plug on the other. That was annoying, but not to the point where I regretted my decision. This one's quality is still satisfactory.
I received the jug, but there was no cap on the fill tube; it was just an open tube with nothing but a bottom cap to screw into the jug; I had expected it to come with an end cap.
The photos in the advertisements should be changed. The Jug is magnificent. br>Either the seller needs to update the photo in the ad or the ad needs to be rewritten. Alternatively, begin sending the one that has been advertised! It appears that several people have commented, but the problem has yet to be resolved. The sales department is in desperate need of improvement. br>However, if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, consider I contacted the seller and received a response the next day, along with a shipping notification for a new filler tube! br>THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING! br>You've done a fantastic job. This is the best 5-gallon race jug I've ever had. I've had over 40 VP fuel race jugs, and they're difficult to use and spill easily. br>This gas jug has handles on both sides, making it ideal for pouring slowly or quickly. br>It's clear, allowing you to see exactly how much fuel is in the container. br>In my car, I use E98 race fuel, and this is my new go-to gas container.
