Approximately 9-inches in diameter, which is a little bigger than expected. Before the crossbox, there are ten in the horizontal. about 4-inch fits nicely Both sides are 5 in. 111 gals, to be precise. The only issue I see is that the drain is about 1 1/2 in from the bottom, so there is a 2-inch gap between the drain and the floor. 5 gallons that are useless and refuse to drain. br>br>While the locking cap may be secure, anyone with half a brain will simply unscrew the entire filler bung.
