With a ribbed section aluminum die cast pump head, the body is powder coated steel for maximum strength.

It has a 1-1/2-inch and 2-inch bung that can be used with drums with either opening it has a plated steel lever handle and a rubber grip for ease of operation

Brass piston rings are fitted to a zinc die cast piston it comes with a curved metal spout and telescopic suction tube for use on 15 gallon (50 liters) to 55 gallon (205 liter) barrels.

You may wish to choose one of our pumps made of plastic. You might also consider the plastic lever pump, item 44185 or the plastic rotary pump, item 44191.

What type of gas can I use with this pump? What type of pump can I use?

There is no way to use Groz pump 44100 to pump gasoline. Groz pump 44019 is an excellent high-end pump. Groz pump 44195 Fuel Transfer Pump is a top choice for electric power pumps.

Is the pump capable of delivering the desired amount of water?

The first one failed on first use and I received a replacement the same day. It has been a pleasure to work with second unit. The pump takes about 20 cycles to get 5 quarts of water

The only issue is you have to wait for the nozzle to drip out or to have a drip tray under it to prevent a small puddle from forming.
