What are the chances of this working on GM 350s?

The rods are much longer than those of a 350, so most likely not. A pushrod that you make yourself may be possible if you take an old one

In what range do the lengths fall?

In general, it ranges between 10 and 15. The numbers 5 and 11 are very close together. My experience is that I've used it multiple times on air-cooled VW engines without needing to adjust anything.

This is an okay tool, but you can create a better one by I think that the tool works okay and is at least On the other hand, the shape of the head on the adjustable end does not resemble the shape of a normal pushrod tip and it should so it sits properly in the rocker cup

Although the adjustable portion of the rod is not at the middle as it is at one end, I liked how it was placed at one end. Alternatively, you could make your own pushrod from an old piece of wire and I would recommend that more than the other option.

This product is great quality, but gives you a wrong length when you make your own In comparison with the tool, they do not reach as far into the cup.

The user interface is easy to understand and Taking out dual springs for checking does not make sense, correct pushrod length can be determined easily this way

According to the description, I am hoping the dual valve springs don't cause it to collapse. The product appears to be strong, but I have not used it yet.
