Unfortunately, I don't know In my case, the thread size differs from what I usually use and comes from a different gauge brand. Since I have not found an adapter to connect the two, what I will do is find two fittings, one for the adapter and one for the gauge, and use them to weld the two

There are two parts to the story During ring removal, a ring is removed. The directions on the web made it difficult for me to make my own adapter and I wasted two days doing it. Out of sheer frustration, I ordered this and it works exceptionally well about 90% of the time. From previous reviews, I read that it worked well to a lesser extent for some people. I was really careful to pull the tool straight out slowly as I pulled it out of the ring. My last cylinder was #7, and I lost my orientation when I reached it After pulling it out, I heard a ring. My previous test of an easy cylinder showed it didn't require it for a good seal, because I threaded it in just finger tight and the seal remained intact. The reason is to provide a slight buffer when the tool is taken out of the cylinder after the compression force has been exerted. Brazed connections are extremely delicate, and even during insertion the o-ring was held in place by a finger. The removal afterwards was not possible without the o-ring There was a tenuous relationship between the cushion and ring. A joint in the tool showed no signs of failure, which was concerning.
The size and dimension of the tool are perfect. My 3 PSD test. I might try experimenting with losing the little oval. If the threads are too large, try placing a large ring above them.
The same problems are reported by two other viewers This quick disconnect fitting was packed with rust and not the standard (typical) style. The quick disconnect style is the one made by Star Products (Lang tools) (not the one made by OTC or Milton). Since I already had a diesel test gauge set, I did not want to spend $150 on the I thought I could solve the problem by simply changing the quick disconnect fitting, but it is a brazed unit, not As a result, I bought a Star Products TU-180 For $9 you can get a 31 Right Angle Diesel Adapter from ToolDiscounter. com. In my test gauge set I replaced the male fitting with one from my set 04 of test gauges. Using my new Star (LANG) adapter, I can now bridge the gap between the OTC 6076 and my testing instrument. A UPDATED RELEASE A small amount of brazing dripped into the tiny tube when the quick disconnect end was brazed on. A #53 drill bit was used to drill out the brazing, and brake cleaner was used to flush the area. It's finally here! I used a 3/16" tube to clear the rocker arm and it worked perfectly. A 1/2" open end wrench could be used at the top of the 6076 to tighten it into the glow plug hole since the whole assembly seems hardened. I didn't know it was half priced off list, but it was still a hassle. I am confident this is the correct tool for Ford/Navistar 7 adapters. Turbocharged engine with direct injection and 3L displacement.
There is no check valve in the adaptor, so I had to make an adapter to use my gauge. I used a custom-made gauge, as there aren't any available on the market.
It was a waste of time and money for me. Instead of the 1/4" npt fitting, they could have used a standard 3/4" That wasn't the case. You have to purchase their outrageous gauges because this is a proprietary fitting.
The price is too high for the quality. What's the worst about it? The ownership! Rings disappear after being worn for a short time. My glow plug is probably in one of my Since the seal works fine without it, I can use just the threads, so why include the thing that I will have to tear off the top end to look for?.
This tool allowed me to test the compression of my Superduty 7 from early 99. There are three Ls. It turned out to be a useful tool.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this tool since it failed right out of the gate. The device was ordered to perform a diagnosis and was not successful. After thoroughly cleaning it, it had a hard time being cleaned out after the rust had been moved forward. I used brake cleaner and a pipe cleaner to loosen the rust. Yard sales are not the place to find this it was bought new. You'll be glad to get a clean one if you are fortunate enough to receive one. However, I did not, which is why it only gets 1 star from me.
It was a great idea.
