In order to ensure that I understand the fitment, please follow these steps Could this be used with a tube that has a diameter of 10mm?

Designed to fit steel tubes with outside diameters of 10mm, the union securely fastens the tubes together. It measures approximately 600 feet from top to bottom. A quarter of an inch. Despite the fact that it is not specified that brass tubes will work with it, I believe it will still fit. This is an extremely well-made item. I hope this is helpful

Two of these parts were purchased so that I could repair a power steering hard line on my Volvo V70 2004. The bad section of line was removed, a new length of line was obtained, and these couplings were used to install the new line. My goal was to make sure there would be no leakage, so I tightened the fittings pretty tightly. It has been about 5 months since I made this repair, and there has been no leakage. My fittings are just beginning to rust very slightly, so I coated them with some used motor oil when I changed my oil. There aren't any extra ferrules in this kit, which is disappointing to me. Should I have botched the repair, I would have needed to purchase separate ferrules and likely waited a few more days for the repair to be done. It was a very good buy for the price. In the event that I had to repair the damage again, I would probably choose corrosion-resistant materials Stainless steel or brass versions of this 10mm fitting are resistant to corrosion. In some applications, low-power devices can be used These are perfectly satisfactory as long as there is no rust risk.

This was used on a steel steering line on a tractor to repair a leak due to the OEM part being discontinued

This compression union was installed and I was able to seal up the leak at the leaky tube, and the tractor is running like new again.

It is hard to find a compression union with a diameter of 10mm. The fact that they had it is good. The repair of a fuel line was a perfect fit for my application.
