It will work if you have enough space to install the hose.
I'm not sure, but I have the tool on my desk. I'm pleased with my purchase because it's well-made and accurate. You're not going to be let down.
Set your air compressor to 90 pounds per square inch (psi). Set your tools to 0 if you want to be more precise. It's a high-pressure situation.
Yes - It can be screwed into the glow plug hole or the injector hole, as I did to test my 3 liter diesel. So that you can use leak down testers correctly and get accurate results, do some research on them.

While the box says it was assembled in the United States from Chinese components, the tech details say it was made in the United States. It's the same thing you'd get at Harbor Freight, but it'll set you back four times as much. The quality is poor to fair. Will not stand up to those who aren't interested in standing up for themselves. use as a recreational activity Components from the Pacific Rim region are of poor quality. You could get it for a quarter of the price from HR.
The tool performs admirably; however, this is a high-pressure setup that necessitates 100-plus pounds of force. PSI is used to calibrate the leakage gauge. My problem was that there wasn't enough room in the plastic red case when the unit arrived, and one of the gauge faces was smashed. Before I could use the tool, I had to disassemble and repair its face. Everything was great once it was fixed!.
Well-made and of good quality. I don't have another gauge to compare it to, but it appears to be accurate.
The hose on my leakdown tester had been damaged when I received it. It's a minor cut, but I'm sure it'll become a problem over time. I haven't used it extensively yet, but the design is appealing, with a plastic casing that is far too small to accommodate everything.
For the price, this is a great product that came quickly. At an affordable price, the quality is comparable to that of more expensive models, and it's ideal for checking compression release motors.
I would purchase this product again because it is an excellent diagnostic tool.
This one isn't going to stick around. You can see how bad the plunger and spring configuration is if you disassemble the threaded plastic "locking" base. It only took a few minutes to disassemble because it was leaking horribly and wasn't delivering enough pressure to the output. Spend more instead, because this will let you down.
It was ideal for determining whether or not a head gasket had blown. I would recommend this kit to anyone who wants a nice and complete kit.
