The product, which looked more like a child's toy, was supposed to be used to determine altitude, barometric pressure, and so on. The price is excessively high in comparison to the quality. I was never able to get it to work the way it was supposed to.
Compus was unable to move beyond the letter E. The journey back is going well. br>br>Compus appears to be a recurring theme. There isn't a straight line between zero and one hundred percent. What you pay for is exactly what you get.
The altimeter is the main reason you bought it, and it functions properly. The temperature gauge is slow to respond to changes, usually staying within 5 degrees of the set temperature. When you remove the instrument from the slide out base/holder, the compass works, but it won't work while driving because of the metal on the dashboard of my Jeep. As a result, I am a fan of this product. It appears to be fantastic. It also has a red flashing light that slides out. I thought the price was a little high, especially considering the quality of the product. Because the compass/thermometer isn't perfect, I'll remove it from the Base when I need a compass reading and that'll suffice; otherwise, it's good and I'd recommend it. Perhaps your dash isn't as metal-heavy as a Jeep's, and the compass will adjust accordingly as you drive.
The compass is overly sensitive, causing it to malfunction when it comes into contact with metal. Regrettably, I am the proud owner of a metal automobile. The temperature gauge is always off. When sitting in the shade on a 70°F day, it reads 100.
The altimeter and barometer appear to function properly, but the compass remains set to EAST no matter which way I'm traveling. The item wasn't worth the time and effort to return because my primary purpose was the altimeter.
The altimeter is a fantastic tool that can be taken apart and used again. Sticky tape makes it simple to use on the dashboard. The rest of the features are amusing. The gadgets are of good quality, but they do the job.
The compass isn't very accurate.
