Product Description

E85 measurement tool economic method to measure the level of ethanol in the fuel. Measure ethanol & water content of gasoline from E60 to E100 by using a large, easy-to-read label.

Several layers of laminate prevent smudging and wear on the label.

Step 1 Fill the bottle up with water to the line on the bottom.

To FIll the Bottle with E85 gasoline, connect the Fill Line to the Gasoline Fill Tank.

Putting the cap on and shaking it well is the third step. Afterward, read the ethanol level by letting it sit for 5 minutes on a flat surface.

The result of this test is reusable or does it only apply to one?

This can be reused without a problem.

This fuel tester is just new to me and I am trying to test e98. When it separates it indicates that it is at the e95% lines, does that indicate that it is e95 gas?

As soon as the water is added, add your E, then let it sit. The E should appear on whatever side should be facing you

Is it possible to use it multiple times?

You may repeat it as many times as you like. Take measurements after adding water, adding E85, shaking, and waiting a few minutes. Content should be disposed of and reused. My mine has been used more than 50 times!

A service station provides Flex Fuel, so I would like to check how much ethanol is in it. Do you follow the same steps but substitute gas for Flex?

A brand name called Flex Fuel is used for gasoline containing from 50 to 85% ethanol. Testers like this and the super tester can both be used to test flex fuel systems.

A car in the sun has deformed the product because of the heat

There would be no harm in making the opening a bit bigger so a fuel nozzle can fit. The bottle I got for my boyfriend is deformed after almost two weeks. Based on my observations, it had been heated before (no fuel had been stored in it after measurements). Keeping it in the car means that the accuracy of readings is probably going to change now because of the curve. A second one was ordered, I am hoping for a better result this time.

Very easy to read, it does what it says on the tin

As it is not designed to be filled at a gas pump, sample fuel will have to be placed in another container. My experience has been that I can collect a fuel sample using a plastic bottle at the pump as the opening is large enough for the nozzle of the gas pump to fit within. Once the test kit bottle has been filled, use a funnel to do so. Eventually, I plan to install an inline ethanol sensor or gauge to my car.

90% of the time, it works. I use it for my Hellcat every day, but I think propel stations are the best for great E85.

I like the fact that it hasn't corroded due to exposure to the fuel or anything like that, so that's nice. I think it's kind of pricey for just an empty bottle, but it's.

It is an easy-to-use product, however for what it is, the price is a bit high for a plastic bottle with a This is a good buy if it costs less than $10 and is certainly helpful when trying to find If I lost this one again, I'd purchase another one, but that does not mean I would enjoy spending more than $10 on a new one.

This is an easy to use program. You will get a reasonably good idea about how much ethanol is in the In my opinion, Imo is overpriced for what it is production probably costs less than $1 per item.

Everything seems to work as expected. Hence far, I have done it twice, with slight variations in readings each time. I couldn't have made a better investment since I don't own a flex fuel kit and wanted to make sure I was not using.

The technology / quality is very poor. In this case, the glue from the inventory label damaged the register, making it impossible to read the product. The quality is very poor and the construction is very cheap.
