Often I don't use it since it is the gold standard Yet I have used it more than 15 times during my 25 years of using it. IMPORTANT NOTE Whenever I drain coolant/antifreeze, I save it for later.

Detected a head gasket leak in less than a minute. Good price. If the leak is not so bad that it blows all the fluid out of the tester at once, you only need about a tablespoon of fluid for one test. If the leak does blow out, there is no need to retest.

I've learned a hard lesson the hard way that cigarette smoke will cause it change so we have to put a lid back on it right away after filling our testers, LOL!.
