The size of the brake bleeder valve nut on your 1989 depends on the brake system. I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado that fits this. It is possible to order 8mm & 10mm The size should be 10mm or 5/16" and larger The ends of the wrench are 3/8" in diameter. I like the quality of this wrench and the price is fair. The typical Chinese pot metal crap used to make tools today is not what these tools are made of.
You probably have metric hardware and not SAE, so it is most likely not the cause. Ideally, the wrench should be 3/8" on one end and 5/16" on the other.
The point total for this assignment is 6
A traditional box end wrench or open end wrench can be used to determine if the parts fit before you purchase. This was purchased for my 2002 Sierra and did not Getting my bleeder screws measured first would have been a good idea.

A GOOD KNOWLEDGE WOULD HAVE caused a better result. This is the second of two that I ordered. All such types of tools have a standard size. The size that is stamped on each and every one of them. The wrench is double ended and is available in two sizes. The document is not visible. I'm unable to see how big the ends are since the chrome is so nice.
This head is six points so that the stupid bleeder screws do not get stripped out. A good tool with a decent finish. It's not show quality but it's well made. It is a handy tool to have because it is long and has good offset. A few minutes before starting the bleed process, spray a little penetrating fluid over the bleeder valves on an older car, and it will greatly reduce the probability of an accidental failure.
I had no problems with it fitting I would say it will work on most older GM vehicles with bleeder nuts of that size (be sure to check first). I had no problems bleeding my brakes with either side of the wrench, which has 5/16 and 3/8 holes. Having the right tool for the job can make all the difference Ideally, it should be both long enough to provide good leverage and short enough to provide.
The tool was good, I wished the country of origin was mentioned, but it was not, so I took my chances. Taiwanese bleeder wrench of good quality, but I was hoping that it would be made in the United States since it is a Lisle tool. Even though it is not labeled as a Lisle, I have a feeling this is an outsourced tool, but I'm not too concerned about that, at least it works.
I got exactly what I needed from the wrence. Many brake fittings are difficult to reach with a wrench while still being able to put pressure on the fitting. Using this wrench as an extra long wrench, I was able to lock it into place securely on the brake bleeder, then use some strong force The piece of metal will serve me for a long time because it is made from metal.
On my 99 V8 5 it only fits the back drum brakes. It is an excellent fit and very secure. There is nothing wrong with the chevy express. There is a difference in size between the front and back! Furthermore, as a result of the straight handle, it is difficult to work on the back bleeder valve. There are other brake bleeder tolls out there that are better!.
It met the high standards I had for quality!.
