If I do not see the stain first, I cannot say for certain. If the water was sitting on the floor long enough to soak in, it could have been 3" dia. or much larger. Cleansing different stains with this product was successful on my floors. In most cases, it depended on whether they were surface stains or if they soaked into the fabric deeply. The other thing that worked for me was to sprinkle some water along with Murphy cleaning oil on the floor so I could use the pad while it was choose to use it, you might want to try a remote spot first.*br>
Depending on how deep the grout is will determine how well the grout holds together. tried every pad and brush between my thighs and still find that the best way to clean grout is kneeling on my knees with a muriatic acid solution and a small stainless steel brush. While the grout takes a long time to dry, it looks brand new once it is complete.
Then I buff with a red pad and polish with a white pad.
Cleaning and buffing can be performed with this product on a daily basis. The floor will be free of marks and appear more attractive.

Several pieces of these pads may be cut into palm-size pieces to be used for dishwashing and sink scrubbing. As opposed to a scotch-brite, they are not abrasive The pads are bright and multi-purpose. A box of these will last a lifetime. The cost is far more affordable than hiring a cleaner and the result is much better. Between uses, the product does not emit a musty scent. A strong and durable material.
To clean my hardwood flooring using sprayed vinegar and water, I cleaned it with a red pad. The urethane finish is a little dulled because of it. My method for buffing the floor was using lambswool pads. Even though it did not shine as well as I wanted it to, I wiped it with a white pad twice, and the shine returned. Whether you use a red or lambskin pad, I think you could use a white pad to clean the floor and an additional dry white pad to shine it. I would not recommend using the red or lambskin pads. If your floor is finished with gloss urethane, it is a good idea to go this route. A small round pad at the center of the white buffer pad works well for getting in corners or removing scuff marks from hard surfaces.
Generic drugs are available at any pharmacy. The pads are not made by 3M. There's a generic brand called 3M marketed under that name. The real difference between cheap 3M pads and cheap ones is obvious to anybody who does floors.
