This is the new version of the pad, and the link you provided is for the old one. However, for the differences, I'd go straight to Rupes' website. One thing I've noticed is that the structure now feels more "connected" as the machine motion is transferred to the surfaces.
Dish soap and warm water are usually all I use. There are a plethora of videos on YouTube featuring detailers discussing their preferred method of cleaning pads. br>br>Remove old compounds and clear coat with compressed air or a pad cleaning brush while using the pad.

The texture and stiffness were the first things that bothered me. However, the finish was almost flawless when I used Sonax cut and finish on this pad and placed it against a black panel with swirls. In some cases, I had to resort to using the Rupes white pad to achieve the desired gloss and clarity. However, the blue pad easily removes oxidation and most defects. Before increasing the speed, make sure the product is evenly distributed throughout the area on a low setting. I don't mind using the sling because the end result is fantastic. Pads don't last very long, so 4 stars.
I've been using rupes yellow pads (foam and wool) for quite some time now. These are not only fun to work with, but they're also versatile enough to make polishing curved panels a breeze. The blue ones are much more rigid, making the experience much more difficult. br>Since you'll tell me they're coarse pads, I'm guessing they'll be more rigid. And you are absolutely correct! br>On the other hand, they're fantastic at removing flaws. . . if you're working with a particularly difficult paint or clear, they'll work wonders. br>I'll keep them as a last resort if my yellow ones fail to deliver!.
As I was buffing with minimal compound (2 dots per section) and between 2 and 3k rpm, I noticed blue particles. However, the areas it did cut were excellent; I only wish it had lasted longer. Very dissatisfied with the product!.
Calculate that each almohadilla will last for two cars at its maximum efficiency.
These are truly one-of-a-kind, and the foam is unlike anything else available. They're coarse and go well with Meguiar's M110 when it comes to cutting.
