Questions & Answers
These pads are only available in a size of 8".
These can be used in conjunction with the stick-on decorations. It is a pad for backing.
The buffing pads are included in the kit, one for each.
The pad's color matches the 3M compound's cap. The white pad is used first, followed by the black, and finally the blue. Estimating the life of a pad is difficult.

I wish the seller had included photos of the backs of the items (semi-misleading). The indent/soft side is only on the blueish pad; the other two pads are the cheaper/thinner ones. As you can see in my photo, it's quite thin when compared to other 3M pads. I had no idea 3M made pads without indents when I ordered these, so I didn't check. Order the 07738 blue pad, 05733 black pad, and 05737 white pad if you want indents/soft sides. This is lesson 50, in my opinion. I had no idea 3M made pads without indents, and the seller should clearly show the backs of the pads in photos.
I received one good blue pad that fits well on the polisher. The other two (black and white) are low-cost imitation 3M pads. Even though I only used them on half of a car, they are already falling apart. The good pad is thick, with indents that go all the way around the backing plate. The other two are completely flat, causing the pad to bounce around. I know they're fake because the blue one (great pad) came in a plastic 3M bag and the other two didn't. I'd like to return those two pads, keep the blue, and replace them with genuine white and black pads. Because I have a black Mercedes and need to 3 stage before applying ceramic coating, I couldn't do the 3 step with these pads, which messed up my schedule.
The only "Perfect-It" pad included in this kit is the blue one, as many others have correctly stated; the other two are 3m pads, but not Prefect-It pads; I should return these, but I've already used one.
I had been using the old wool pads for a long time, and when I finally switched to the foam pads, I saw immediate results. br>Easier to work with, less build-up, and a consistent result. The newer versions, with their waffle surface, are a huge step forward, providing better shine while reducing swirling and heat buildup.
These pads worked well for polishing a clear coat automotive finish (following the application of a heavy cutting compound with another product). To restore the clear coat finish, I used a polishing compound along with these pads, and the results were fantastic. You'll probably like how these pads work and how well they hold up to use (I used them twice on a big car and they're still in good shape - win).
Amazon Prime shipping was quick, and I received one pad for each color (White - Blue - Green - Blue - Green - Blue - Blue - Blue - Blue Black Compound - Blue from Poland- It's the same color as the 3M bottle cap (buff). Pads have a long life expectancy. To keep them from drying out, I store them in a gallon Ziplock bag after each use. I use them to buff out Epoxy and my car, and they last a long time.
I have complete faith in all 3M products. These three pads provide me with and assist me in performing excellent work and completing projects on my three automobiles. Each foam pad must be used in conjunction with the appropriate 3M "Compound-Based" adhesive. 39060" (white cap), "Polish-American-American-American-American-American-American-American-American-American-American "Ultrafine Machine Polish- 39061" (black cap), "Ultrafine Machine Polish- 39061" (black cap), "Ultrafine Machine Polish 39062" (blue cap) is a number that can be found on the back of a cap. Because the paste caps are the same color as the foam pads (as seen in the photo), it's easy to figure out.
For a flawless appearance, the 3M polishing system is undoubtedly the best. These pads are color-coded to match their polish compounds, and they get the job done quickly and last for multiple jobs.
