It is not a dim white light but has a much better overall appearance. We are not talking about mood lights here.
These lights seem to be strictly 12 volt DC lights, but you connected your camper to a 110 AC power supply, as many do, running to a built-in battery charger / transformer, which charged your battery and gave you the ability to run lights. However, I am almost 100% certain that the power running to the light originates from a 12 volt DC source.

A total of all the lights in my 2012 Cherokee Forest River 28BH were replaced. There were literally no switches left because the old incandescent bulbs were melting them and turning them on would make their power dim to the point that the radio would sometimes cut out. With this update, it won't change the power level when you turn all the lights on. I would say that the brightness of the lights is much better, maybe a little too 'white' for my liking, but it's still much better than I had no trouble installing the software. A complete set of hardware was included with it. flew right out of the little Y harness that I dangled from the wires. As a result, I have to fix that, and I have to accept responsibility for RV code requires heat shrink or another method that won't let the wires wiggle loose. It came with wire nuts, but I think you should use heat shrink. The wire nuts were wrapped in electrical tape and I just used them.

The product is very good and it's a great price. I like the way the lights look! Install it in no time. A great benefit of being able to control my light needs is the ability to adjust it. With my 12v line, I have a voltage meter, and it shows very little draw on the battery while I'm using it. On the way home, I stopped by the RV store in my neighborhood. One of the same fixtures you've seen has two switches and the company wants $37 for it. I recommend them to you!.

My camper has LED lights, and these are a great option for replacements. It is a true white light with a high and low brightness, which is much better than the LED bulbs in the existing unit that flickered. This is a super simple to install product.
