Mine is approximately 6 inches long. From the back, 5 to 7 inches to the back wall
I measured the height and style against the one I had!
Yes, just secure it with bolts and connect the water supply, and you're good to go.
I'm not sure what you're talking about. If you keep the water valve (flush handle) open, it will keep running fresh rinse water through the same line until you release it. If you want a separate rinse water line, you can make one by putting a tee in the water line before it enters the toilet fixture, or you can buy a water line and a dispenser handle (with a self-contained shutoff) and hang it when not in use. This does not seem necessary to me (but I am not in your shoes).

Between the bowl and the hole that leads to the floor plumbing, there is a significant gap. Your "stuff" might or might not all fall into the hole at the bottom of this hollow toilet when you flush. The rest will sit in the toilet's hollow for the rest of its life because you can't get inside to clean it properly without removing the toilet. What happens if your tank sloshes back into this thing's bottom? Just the thought of someone using one of these makes me feel sick. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE!.
This took me 45 minutes to install, along with the Theyford riser platform. It was a great success. I cut my installation time in half by watching the YouTube video and reading the reviews. It was simple because I used about 5 inches of pec's tubing and two shark bite couplings. I got the idea from one of the reviews and had the wife sit on it while I tightened it down. That was extremely helpful because I didn't want to break the floor mounting bracket made of plastic. Dishwashing soap was used on the seals in the YouTube video to help the gaskets slide into the holes more easily, and it appeared to work. When tightening, I simply took my time, one by one, and never applied too much force when pulling the wrench. The bolts will be tightened a little more after a few days. This is something that anyone can do. Great product, quick delivery, and I even received a follow-up email from the seller to ensure that I was happy with it, which I am.
I basically agree with the other reviewers who express concern about the long-term viability of the book. Although it lacks long-term sturdiness, it is compensated for by a reasonable price, and I expect it to last and function properly for many years if not abused. If you're looking for something custom-made, look no further. If you want something that is slam resistant, you should expect to pay more. I don't have much patience for people who abuse products and fail to maintain them, then blame the manufacturer. for the failure of a product So far, I've only used plain water to test the toilet. The bowl valve is tight enough to hold a small residual pool of water for an extended period of time, so I'm guessing it will effectively seal out odor. Keep in mind that the new foam gasket is thick enough to require some compression during installation in order to achieve a good seal. While tightening the two retaining nuts, you'll need to apply downward pressure on the toilet, and I recommend switching back and forth between the two as you cinch the base down to the final seating against the floor.
After a year, the flush valve failed. This was installed prior to last summer. It was a breeze to set up. The toiled has an "open" design under the bowl between the flush valve and the black tank flange, which I don't like. It would have been nice if Thetford had used a little more plastic to fill in the gap and eliminate the possibility of "hang-ups. " ups". That hasn't been a problem for me so far. However, it appears to be a viable option. My Issue: Our first trip out this year, the flush valve blew out. Where the water line meets the flush valve, there is a fitting. She'd had enough of winter. Because it gets below freezing here in the winter, I may not have drained all of the water as thoroughly as I should have. In either case, you might want to save the money you'd have spent on this toilet and buy one of these instead: br>br> A backup that you can throw in your RV. It's not fun to be without a toilet, but it's possible. Worse is to come. It's no fun to be without water because water spills all over the place every time the pump is turned on. Deal breaker, and a real DAMPER to your camping trip.
Simple, light, and functional are three words that come to mind when thinking about this design. Hand flushes are preferable to foot flushes because they are less likely to be overpowered and broken. The only disadvantage is that the bowl is a large funnel, and removing it for repair or replacement will result in splashback around the funnel's bottom, which will get everywhere and be difficult to clean. Keep a sturdy double plastic bag with kitty litter or paper towels in the bottom of a cardboard box. As soon as the toilet rises, place it in the box and move it outside to a location where you can hose it down when you're finished. Alternatively, you can discard the entire thing. br>However, they are low-cost and last a long time.
Installation is simple. It took our son about 15 minutes to complete (including the removal of the old one). br>We prefer the pedal flush, but we like the handle flush as well. br>I like how tall you are - Lots of power on the flush, and good overall coverage on the swirly water!br>My husband is 6'4"br>.
It was incredibly simple to set up. It came with all of the necessary hardware and components. I never thought I'd be so enthusiastic about a toilet, but here we are, having just completed the installation. Quick, simple, and light are the three words that come to mind when thinking about this recipe Done. Our old RV's bathroom was full size, but it was too small to fit in. The only problem I had was with my own personal taste. that perled lid covers that are universal/standard do not fit I'll have to make one that attaches to the lid so the plastic doesn't get too cold on my wet tush after showering.
I can't complain about the price, but there is no pipe between the bowl and the inlet to the floor, so poop splashes all over the inside of the toilet base, which was a major drawback for me.
