In fact, it was a replacement part and I installed it on that model
The 10 gallon was installed exactly where the 12 gallon was originally installed at the factory. A perfect fit was achieved. As a whole, it's not as deep as it used to be. Please let me know if this helps Alan
A SW10DM is something I don't know. Water heaters with a capacity of 10 gallons or larger fit flush in the Suburban door. With the door, you get the bezel as well. My only use of the door was to open it. It was the perfect fit for me.

Upon purchase I found this to be the perfect replacement for my suburban model SW 10 DE hot I lost my original door on our last trip, and this door is 15 1/2" x 15 1/2" and fits perfectly to replace it. It comes with the outer frame, which I did not need.
As a replacement for one that fell off on the road because I forgot to latch the old one, I bought this There is just one issue with this purchase the frame and door assembly must be purchased separately for $60 instead of just the door itself. fit well and matched perfectly in terms of color and size.
The light did not stay on and it was not flush mounted. It was not possible to open the door that was for the "sheet metal chimney" because it stuck out further than the front. The package was returned to me just now.
It's a factory replacement for the one that broke off due to my inadvertent forgetting to latch it. Yes, of course! The frames did not need to be framed, but it would be nice to have one on hand. My order came with free shipping and at the right price.
It is the perfect match in both fit and color. The cover only, as it comes with a frame I didn't require. Overall I'm pleased with the $50 purchase. It seems a bit steep, but I had no choice.
The water heater I have had an incident with had a cracked line and fire where there shouldn't have been fire, and I burned off all the paint and bent the door a little when I opened it. The replacement door was an exact match to my Suburban SW10DE water heater, now it looks brand.
It only took a couple of hours to change from a 6 gallon tank to a 12 gallon tank the 12 gallon tank needed a larger opening, and the larger door needed to be bigger, too. Exactly what I needed.
It fits flush against the side, and it seals extremely well. Much better-looking and fitting than the previous version. It took less than five minutes for the installation to complete. It is a simple process. It is perfect for what we need.
