In fact, yes. The seal is also more effective. Having replaced my stock one that leaked, I have avoided the risk of further leaks. It is of very high One thing to note about this product is that the bolts holding it in are thinner, so there is not as much thread on them. Make sure your torque is on the low side of the range. Measurements are in metric units for bolts.

The product does what it promises

I'm adding this to ) when I upgraded to an oversized Derale pan from the 4L with 4r100. My purchase of this gasket saved me from having to rely on a poor-quality gasket from Derale. There are metal inserts around the edge of the bolt holes on this thick gasket. It is the same quality I am accustomed to when I buy.

For the first few weeks, it was fine, but now it's This gasket is leaking three weeks after installation on my Ford E4OD despite the fact that I did not over torque the drain pan bolts

A brand new high-quality transmission pan is being used to install it. It is fair to say that you need a transmission pan with a flat machined lip surface, rather than the typical cast or pressed steel However, I can see a split in one edge of the gasket, and it is the location of the leak. We will replace the cork gasket on the Honda engine with rubberized cork gasket and Honda silicone Most leaks are eliminated by that method for a long time. Unlike other products, Ford products typically leak quite often, so fixing leaks is pretty much a full-time hobby.

On a 1994 Ford F150, you should not use the stock pan

The gasket is clearly a high quality product from a legendary manufacturer, which is why I gave it five stars. Nevertheless, it is not recommended that you do this on a stamped-priced stock On a 1994 Ford F150, a steel pan is present. According to the Summit Racing website, I noticed some Amazon reviewers were experiencing leaks and upon investigation discovered I cannot use the air cleaner since I have the stock pan, and I am sure many of us do. If you have an aftermarket air cleaner, please let me know. If you prefer a market pan with a machined surface, this is probably a good choice. However, I have to return mine.

These are not reusable, though they don't leak the first time they are installed. After they have been re-used, they will tear and leak You are installing.

A gasket like this feels like quality, and it can be relied upon. The seal and fit were perfect when it was installed with the Moroso pan. There is no doubt in my mind I will use it again and will No need to worry about it leaking because it can be put on and forgotten about.
