I replace this gasket on a regular basis as part of maintenance procedures, and I've discovered that the OEM gasket is the only one that works for me. I've also done it both dry and with a small amount of gasket maker. In my experience, it works best when it's completely dry. br>br>Installed on a Mercruiser 4 from the year 1994. 3L V6 (non-supercharged) with 12 bolt intake (non-supercharged) engine (Vortec).
