Despite the spline count being correctly defined for 4L60E transmission, the prop shaft fit nicely. The bolts are directly connected. In order to prevent trans fluid leakage, it is highly recommended that you replace the seal. There is no indication that it has reduced vibrations at highway speeds. Additionally, the prop shaft is narrower than the original aluminum shaft, which provides an additional margin of safety all around when the fuel tank is removed. There is only one downside so far, and that is that there are no grease fittings in the u-channels Periodic maintenance is required for joints.
