Questions & Answers

In the slip yoke, how many splines are there?

Despite this, I decided not to count the splines. I was able to connect up to a 4l60e without any problems.

Do you think this will fit the 2000?

We were not able to use it on our 2003 Chevrolet Silverado diesel. Despite the fact we had to order it from O'Reilly's and even then they had to order a second one because the first one did not

What is the number of splines on your yoke, and what is the length of the shaft? Mine has 31 and it is 68 1/2 inches long. ?

Certainly it will fit an extended cap Silverado as I've had it for six months, the same number of splines as well

As intended, it worked
5/5

Despite the spline count being correctly defined for 4L60E transmission, the prop shaft fit nicely. The bolts are directly connected. In order to prevent trans fluid leakage, it is highly recommended that you replace the seal. There is no indication that it has reduced vibrations at highway speeds. Additionally, the prop shaft is narrower than the original aluminum shaft, which provides an additional margin of safety all around when the fuel tank is removed. There is only one downside so far, and that is that there are no grease fittings in the u-channels Periodic maintenance is required for joints.
